Family Reunion

The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you might need. Plenty of bath and pool towels. Pool area was great and we loved having it screened in. Location! Location! So close to all kinds of activities and St. Augustine. Michelle was a wonderful host, answering any questions and concerns promptly. Recommend this home to any large group looking for a relaxing stay!

We had a great Thanksgiving vacation in this house. It is very clean and the beds are comfortable. The house has everything you will need. It is very close to downtown and the beaches. Michelle was wonderful - we had some questions and she got back to us very quickly and was very helpful.

Family vacation

The house is just perfect for families of various ages. The kitchen is equipped with everything you would need. Having a outside grill is an added benefit. Location is great...within walking distance to the Alligator Farm. Everything is within a short drive. Beautiful home! Highly recommend!

Perfect Vacation Home

Not only was the house spotless when we got there, but the pool was clean and perfect for both families who stayed there. The location is very close to Anastasia State Park which is the best beach access if you want to avoid fighting for parking along A1A Beach, and it’s also close to great restaurants in the area (O’Steens, OC White’s, Mellow Mushroom, etc). The owner was awesome and is available for any issues or assistance with the area. Highly recommend and we bookmarked the house for future visits!

A perfect oasis!

We had such a wonderful stay in Michelle's home! It really seemed like staying in the home of a friend, not a VRBO. The house is very well equipped with plenty of everything - dishes, utensils, towels, pots & pans, paper products, soaps, cleaning supplies, an extra propane tank for the grill, pool floats and toys, comfy blankets... Michelle has really thought of everything. There was plenty of room for all of us, and everyone slept comfortably. We loved having the pool so we could come home and cool off at the end of a hot day downtown or at the beach. The location was perfect for us too - a very short drive to either downtown St. Augustine or out to Anastasia State Park. Throughout the reservation process and during our stay, Michelle responded almost immediately to every message. She was even kind enough to postpone a tree removal to accommodate our short notice stay. We love St. Augustine and we loved this VRBO experience. We are so thankful for lots of sweet memories in your wonderful home Michelle. It felt like home by the time we left, and we hope to get to enjoy it again someday.

Fantastic overall experience

We loved everything about this rental! Michelle was very responsive, friendly, and kind and also accommodating with some special requests we had. We loved the layout of the house, the neighborhood, and the location. We were very comfortable in the house. Our group was varied ages from six to grandparents. Excellent property and even better location

We enjoyed our stay very much. The property was clean, up to date, and comfortable. The host was helpful and responsive in fixing a minor issue. The pool was great and we had everything we needed. The location is hard to beat! So close to the beaches and the bridge to the historic area. There are various mattress hardnesses throughout, so try to match those with personal preferences. The living and dining area provided plenty of space for hanging out and playing games.

Family vacation

This was the perfect house for our family vacation. We could not have asked for more. We were welcomed to the home with flowers, a box of chocolates and a bottle of wine. The house and pool was very clean and well stocked with anything you could possible need. The kids did not want to leave the house. They were happy to stay home and not venture out. St. Augustine Getaway

Our family of twelve (two grandparents, two children and spouses, and six grandchildren ages 3 - 10) had the vacation we craved at Lair de Leon. It was the perfect base for excursions to St. George Street where we shopped and dined at the always satisfying Columbia restaurant and, of course, to the Alligator Farm a short walk away. When not out and about, we enjoyed splashing around in the pool, a must-have for the little ones. My wife was very pleased with how well-stocked the kitchen was. The personal touch that Michelle and Michael added with their homecoming gift of wine, chocolate and flowers was an unexpected bonus. Anyone wanting to stay in the St. Augustine area would be very pleased to spend some time at Lair de Leon.

This is an absolutely amazing place to stay!

Michelle and Micheal are phenomenal they go over and beyond to make your stay one to remember. They are so communicative, have great recommendations, and super friendly. We will be back for sure. This property is absolutely gorgeous especially for family, wonderful outdoor seating, amazing heated pool also screened in space with outdoor lights, has an amazing fire pit, very beautiful decor, so close to the alligator farm which is a must if you visit. You will not be disappointed if you come to this vacation home. I wish I could go higher than a five because I would rate You the highest I could go. We can’t wait to come back.

Family reunion is St. Augustine

We were greeted with chocolate and wine waiting for us. What a nice, welcoming gesture. The property was perfect in every way. There was a lot of space for all of us. The house was well equipped in the kitchen, inside (with lots of games, towels and blankets) and outside with lots of pool toys and floats. The house was in a good location between downtown and the beach. I would definately return to this property.

Spacious and immaculately clean home. Plenty of room for the entire extended family. Well equipped kitchen for preparing a variety of large meals and snacks. More than enough linens and towels for all guests, plus a fantastic washer & dryer. The pool is perfectly protected by the screens, and there is plenty of shade throughout the day; making summer swimming very enjoyable. The pool toys were a bonus; multiple floats are provided. The pool lights are great; it was alot of fun to take a swim after dark. The location near the Alligator Farm and the Lighthouse is very convenient for daily visits - we recommend purchasing the annual passes for both of these activities.

The home was spacious and had plenty of room for a large family. Our favorite thing of the house was the pool and lanai area. With children who love to swim, we use the pool a lot. We really appreciate that they put in a new heating system, so the pool was comfortable for swimming. As a family, we like to cook, so we cooked most of our meals at home. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, cooking tools, pots and pans and serving dishes. That was very much appreciate it! We were welcomed with flowers, wine, and candy which was a very nice touch. Michelle was very responsive to any messages we sent her regarding questions or needs. We really enjoyed our stay!

The perfect home for a family vacation

This an outstanding house and the host was absolutely amazing. First, the house had everything you need and it was in pristine condition. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, there is good closet space, and plenty of clean linens. We also really enjoyed the outdoor space. The screened-in cover for the pool not only kept the pool clean, but also gave us a beautiful space outdoors with no bugs. The outdoor grill was clean and works great. The location is perfectly in the middle of everything. But the best part was the host. They were responsive to questions and requests from beginning to end in a matter of minutes. They made sure we enjoyed our stay by recognizing the ‘birthday’ party we were celebrating for this vacation and made some wonderful recommendations. After the stay they promptly informed us of electronics left behind. All four families enjoyed our stay and we all agreed we would love to stay at this house again.

Perfect fall break getaway!

We drove down for fall break from Atlanta, and loved our time at the property and in St. Augustine. The home was clean, spacious, and easily accommodated 6 adults and 6 children. Great House near everything

Our hosts, Michelle and Michael, were great and answered all our questions. We were greeted with chocolate and wine. The house was large and comfortable. It is actually more beautiful in real life. After sightseeing, it was great to come back to the house and jump in the pool. Pool towels were supplied, along with floats and pretty much anything else you could need. The landscaping was beautiful. Close to everything but still felt private. I cannot say enough positive things. My daughter said this was the best house and the best vacation ever. Celebrate graduation

Christmas in Saint Augustine

Michelle and Michael's house is beautiful, clean and was a perfect family getaway over Christmas! They were very easy to communicate with and made sure our stay was relaxing. Perfection in St. Augustine

We could not be more thrilled with our stay! The house is beautiful and SO spacious. There were 11 of us and we never felt on top of each other. The location is perfect for convenience when it comes to St. Augustine. By the end of our week long stay we felt like locals because it was so easy to get everywhere we needed to go. Most impressively was how wonderful Michelle the owner is. Can not say enough good things about how accommodating she is! Communicating with her is truly a pleasure. She has really invested in making sure that you and your family are going to have everything available for a wonderful vacation. Sincerely, we just can not praise her enough! So sad that our vacation is over. Thanks to our stay here it was one of the most enjoyable, stress free family vacations ever!

Amazing house in St Augustine

This house was beautiful. We had a 50th wedding anniversary party for my parents and rented this house for my family, my sister’s family and my parents. The house was perfect for our trip. The master bedroom was enormous, but all the bedrooms were very spacious. The house also has 3 full bathrooms. The kids loved the heated pool and the room with the futon. The parents loved hanging out by the pool and in the main living area. There was plenty of room for the kids and adults so we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. We all agreed that we would rent this house again in a heartbeat. Michelle and Michael were wonderful hosts.

Excellent accommodations....

We had a great stay at this house recently. The owner ( Michelle)!couldn’t have been better. She made everything so easy and was very accommodating. The house is located a short walk from the Amphitheater which was ideal for us. Alligator farm is nearby if you are gonna have kids with you. Perfect doesn't do it justice

The communication was excellent from when we booked til we checked out. The house was stunning, clean and had all the creature comforts we needed. It's close to so many st augustine attractions but also quiet and secluded. I can't recommend it enough!!!!
