Welcome to Castillo del Sol!



Castillo del Sol, Unit B is a second-floor, 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom retreat just a short walk from the beach in the Crescent Beach area of St. Augustine. The Mediterranean-style building features two units total: a separate Unit A downstairs (rented independently) and this upstairs Unit B, which sleeps 4 in two king bedrooms. If available, you can rent both units at the same time for larger groups.



The open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area sits beneath a striking wood-plank tray ceiling and flows seamlessly between spaces. The fully equipped kitchen offers granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a breakfast bar, and everything you need to prepare a meal at home. The dining table comfortably seats six to eight, with additional bar seating at the kitchen counter.



The primary suite features a king bed, a TV, balcony access, and an ensuite bathroom with a relaxing corner soaking tub and a separate walk-in shower. The second bedroom also has a king bed and sits next to the second full bathroom. Both bedrooms are filled with natural light through arched windows.



Step outside to two private balconies, one off the living area with a dining set and the gas grill, and another off the primary bedroom, perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails. Down at ground level, you'll find a private putting green tucked among the palms, plus paver patio and assigned parking.

Spend your days on the sandy shores swimming, sunbathing, surfing, paddleboarding, and fishing. Take leisurely beach walks to discover treasures like shark teeth, sand dollars, and sea glass.



*Maximum occupancy is strictly enforced. Per County regulation, this house can accommodate 8 "occupants," excluding children 12 years of age or under. However, the house sleeps a total of 4.

Our goal is to make sure your stay exceeds expectations from start to finish. Portoro communicates by email and phone, and once your booking is confirmed, we’ll email your rental agreement for e-signature. Check-in instructions are sent by email and text message prior to arrival, and we offer convenient self check-in. During your stay, we’ll typically check in by text once or twice to ensure a 5-star experience, and we’re available 24/7 if any questions come up. After checkout, we’ll follow up, we’re excited to hear about your stay and welcome any feedback.

• By booking with Wren Beach Rentals by Portoro, guests agree to the guidelines below to help ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable stay



• Portoro Rental Agreement + Identity Registration, All guests staying at a Portoro property are required to complete identity registration and sign a rental agreement via e-signature.

• Age Requirement, The reservation holder must be 25+.

• Arrival Support + House Manual + 24/7 Support, Upon arrival, Portoro aims to ensure your safety, proper access to the home, and understanding of guest features. All guests are required to read the house manual upon arrival. If you have any questions, please reach out to Portoro, our team is available 24/7.

• Directions + Check-In Details, Before check-in, Portoro will send all check-in details, detailed directions, and a digital guest guide for the home by email and text to help ensure a seamless arrival.

• Check-In / Check-Out (Early/Late Requests), Check-in is 4:00pm and check-out is 11:00am. We can't guarantee early check-ins or late check-outs, and a fee typically applies. When approved, fees apply for times outside a one-hour window of standard check-in/check-out. If you need significant flexibility, the best option is to book an additional night.

• Local Taxes (Including Extended Stays, In the state of Florida and St. Johns County, hotel/vacation rental hosts are required to collect hotel tax, which Portoro collects within the booking transaction. For stays over 29 days, please inquire with Portoro regarding terms and conditions and any applicable tax exemptions.



• This home is pet-friendly. Please note, only dogs allowed and 50lb weight limit, up to 2 dogs per stay with the following guidelines. (This does not apply to service animals):

• $150 per pet, per stay. These fees are non-refundable.



• No Smoking, This is a no smoking property. Penalty fees apply for violations, and you may be asked to vacate the premises with no refund at the discretion of Portoro.

• No Parties or Events, Parties and events are not permitted.

• Quiet Hours, 10:00pm–8:00am. These hours reflect local residential and regional expectations, please keep noise low and be mindful of neighbors.

• Report Damages, Any known damages incurred during your stay must be reported to the property manager immediately.

• Security, Some Portoro properties have exterior-only cameras for monitoring.

• Local or Property Water Features, Some Portoro properties may have pools, hot tubs, or other nearby water features. There is no guard around water features, use at your own risk.

• No Feeding Wildlife, Feeding wildlife is strictly prohibited at all properties to avoid property damage and to protect animals. Additional cleaning, sanitation, and remediation fees may apply (at the discretion of Quechee Lakes Rentals by Portoro and/or any applicable HOA/association).

• Wildlife + Pests, You may see local wildlife during your stay (lizards, frogs, palmetto bugs, mosquitoes, etc.). The home is regularly treated for pests, but occasional insects can still appear, especially in warm or rainy seasons. Please keep doors closed, avoid leaving food out, and dispose of trash properly. For homes with BBQs, please scrape grills clean after use to avoid attracting pests.
