This Hotel was incredibly clean! It was a bit dated but again I can”t express clearly enough how clean it was. My compliments to the cleaning staff…..every hotel should be jelious of their work ethic and the results it yields!

Upgrade over last 3 yrs was good; there was prob finding the res #, room safe not working, clock/alarm would not reset following power outage. Room was clean & quiet.

As a place to stay it met all the basic requirements - a reasonably comfortable bed (mattress a bit hard), a clean room and breakfast. The room was in need of renovations (wet and buckled ceiling in the bathroom). The light bulbs in several lamps flickered and we notified maintenance. This could be just one room and the rest of the hotel appears to be well kept.

The hotel needs to be updated. The bathroom needed to be recalked and there were areas that had dry rot. Smelled old.

Free breakfast & coffee, comfortable king bed, courteous front desk manager..Definitely knows what hes doing good job! Was few unidentifiable substances on curtin / top drapes..but who looks there rite!? But i did..lol. And there were greasy handprints left imprinted on headboard but room was clean otherwise and huge tv.

This is a really excellent choice for an affordable hotel. It’s very clean, simple in terms of offerings, but obviously well-maintained, and extremely convenient to the Metro blue line that travels in to downtown DC. Always nice to have a fridge, microwave, and breakfast included and the staff was helpful and friendly.

The room was very clean. Free transportation to and from the Franconia-Smithfield metro station which we loved. Breakfast was alright nothing too special but good overall. There’s a mall, Marshall’s and food options nearby. Hotel itself looked a little bit old and outdated but free parking, area seemed safe and staff were good!

The bed was extremely comfortable - I got a good night's sleep :-). Staff members were pleasant, even cheerful. Water in the bathroom never got really hot, but it was adequate for a shower.

We came in for spring break and the location is perfect 20-30 mins away from all the must see DC sites without all the traffic and parking hassle. Lots of shopping and dining around was a plus! The property- the first room we got smelled like feet they should remove the carpet in these places. They were quick about getting me another and apologized. The AC stunk when you turned it on and was very noisy. The room it self was not bad the shower was good no mold or nasty stuff. Overall not a bad stay for the price. And the breakfast made up for all of the bad if you like to have breakfast Eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles. They have coffee and hot water at lobby all the time so that was nice. Expedia says it has a pool but it does not.

Staff wasn’t the best, or easiest to understand. Very loud and a lot of people in and out (not sure all were staying there), glass broken all over the parking lot, elevator didn’t seem safe, things in the room were broke, the remote, toilet seat, cabinet doors, and not very handicap friendly! Could be better, but for the price and the area, it’s a very good deal

Quiet and easy free parking..free breakfast..nice rooms , clean and comfortable. Only thing didnt like was room rates jump randomly. But totally enjoyed our stay. Very accommodating as well.

The beds were clean . That's it. Carpet lifting throughout hallways, visible water damage in room, bathtub dirty, toilet bowl dirty and had been used. Floors/carpeting badly vacuumed, if at all. Old rolled chewing gum under desk. Microwave dirty and food particles. We stayed here 2 years ago and was not this bad. It's not high-end, I get it, but please minimal cleanliness and maintenance is a must... I'm not looking for luxury!
