„Very friendly and genuine staff, working hard. I was pleasantly surprised at the common areas and restaurant, almost like a full service restaurant, which I was not expecting. This is a tiny mountain top area, not really even a town, and the lodge seems to be presenting the best possible situation, for the limitations of the environment, and the recent difficult history of fires nearby. I would happily enjoy another stay!“

„Sehr nettes Personal, schöne, geräumige Zimmer mit gut ausgestatteter Küche. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr gut. Leider hatten wir ein Zimmer direkt neben dem Waschraum, in welchem die Gäste bis tief in die Nacht hinein die Waschmaschinen haben laufen lassen, sodass wir kaum geschlafen haben. Dafür kann das Hotel aber nichts, deswegen gibt es trotzdem volle Sterne und eine absolute Empfehlung.“

We were busy most days, however, in the mornings while I drank coffee by the pool, Sandi would often come out and visit. „This is not your average vacation rental. The rural desert location was astonishingly beautiful. The house had a classic old Tucson rustic feel. If you prefer sterile Target decor, this is not for you, but if you are up for a quirky adventurous stay, book this place!“

„We stayed to visit family who live close by. The house was huge, beautiful views, and convenient to amenities on 77. Very clean and with lots of clean linens. Laundry was super convenient. One problem with the AC when we arrived, but the hosts were super responsive and took care of it pronto. We enjoyed sitting outside in the morning and watching for hummingbirds and quails. A great place!“
