Long weekend at a country estate
We hosted 7 other family members who came in for our daughter's wedding. We had a fabulous time and the house & grounds were perfect! Claire thought of everything and the labeled cabinets were brilliant. We would definitely stay there again and would gladly rent other properties from Claire. It was a magical weekend!

Our wonderful wedding weekend at Claire’s
Our stay was wonderful, our guests were so impressed with the property and how meticulous everything was. Claire went above and beyond to make our special day so perfect. Our families stayed at the house and it was great to all be together but to also all have space. The master bathroom is spectacular. Claire put so much thoughtful attention to each room. The house is very unique, quite eclectic and fun! The pool was not open, but, the weather wasn't very cooperative either! The grounds/gardens are awesome, the property accommodated over 40 family members and everyone had a good time!

Wonderful for groups
Our party of 16 enjoyed this expansive property during our stay. There was plenty of room for the adults and children to have their own space. The pool was perfect and we spent a lot of time there. The pond looked a little low so we did not venture out on the boat. Claire was very communicative and the house had everything labeled, which made navigating the large kitchen super easy. The recycling and compost was a lot to manage though. Would definitely come back again!

Perfect weekend at “private resort”
Our family - my wife and I, our three adult daughters and their partners and five grandchildren had a completely delightful stay. The house is beautiful, beyond charming, so well-appointed in every respect. The layout of the house provides an ideal combination of separate space for sleeping or quiet time and convenient areas for group gatherings. And the grounds! Beautifully gardened, plenty of room for wandering around the pond and the woods beyond, or just sitting and reading by the pool or any of several comfortable outdoor areas featuring Adirondack chairs or other seating. Just great. We can’t wait to return.

Our family wedding getaway
Our stay at the house was just wonderful! This home is beautifully furnished and is so welcoming and comfortable ….there are so many amenities inside and out The grounds are beautiful, so tnatural and tranquil and so picturesque with the changing leaves. A morning cup of coffee pondside was the best….so special and so relaxing. The kitchen is spacious and a frequent gathering place for my family .My 3yr old grandson loved exploring the many patios and he had to make a daily visit to feed aPedro the donkey and Moxie the pony but let mom and dad feed Duchess and Koda. Family Retreat
We stayed for a week with 14 family members aged 2 to 73 and every one of us had a great time. The property is beautiful. The house is beautiful and there are interesting things at every turn. We swam in the pool, boated on the pond, hiked in the woods, petted the donkey and horses, and biked on the trails. The kitchen has everything needed for preparing meals and info provided gave us lots of options for take-out. We would go there again in a heartbeat.

Enjoyable Family getaway
The property is great for families wanting to getaway from the hustle and bustle. Nice horses and Donkey. The pond was great entertainment catching and releasing frogs and saving fish from the overflowing pond. The technology in house is great, but very difficult to figure out. A manual with written instructions would make figuring out the house much easier. We would stay at the property again.

Lovely property
My extended family & I stayed at this property for over two months during November and December. The home is beautiful and very well appointed. Spacious rooms, nicely maintained property. We were fortunate to have both fair weather and snow. The children delighted in the horses and rabbits. We celebrated Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. It allowed our family to enjoy being together, work remotely and get through some of the Covid restrictions. The housekeeper/grounds staff are superb. Very friendly and helpful. We did run into some utility issues with the the owner. We may have been one of the longer stays at this property for visits in the winter months. I would advise getting all details on the table before lease is signed.

A beautiful property, some communication issues
We stayed at this property for 2 nights and loved the big, well equipped kitchen, the beautiful yard and the animal farm that is right on the property. Communication with the property owner was a problem. While we were there, there was a power outage for a few hours and I was not able to get a hold of her. Besides that there were several more instances of miscommunication or no reply. Other than that, we had a really good time at the house.

We apologize for the miscommunication as we had power and cellular outage as well and thus we did not get your messages on time. We had sent you several emails about the property with phone numbers of the 2 caretakers for any needs or issues . They said they never received any phone calls. They live only a mile away. Is there a reason why you did not call them?

The property is beautiful inside and out. There was enough to do on the property without having to leave. It was fun for everyone in our party, from age 65 - age 1. It would have been helpful to know that one of the upstairs bedrooms could only be accessed through another bedroom. It was also odd to have employees on the property every day we were there (though they were very nice).

We had a wonderful stay here - the house is large and comfortable, and the grounds are incredible. We spent hours in the pool, our kids loved being able to see the animals, and the surrounding area has so much to explore and enjoy. The house had everything we needed, space for everyone, and was a perfect place for us to get away for a few days and enjoy time with family.

5 Star Family Getaway
Our family will never forget staying at Claire’s Estate - such an exceptional vacation spot! Luxury accommodations with a pool, fire pits for making s’mores and a pond. Spacious well equipped house with plenty of room for 2 families - next time we will bring more people. Breathtaking property with several hiking trails and flowers everywhere. There is magic all around - my teens unplugged and spent hours at the pool and in the woods. We definitely plan on returning!

Claire's property is no short of amazing. The house was beautiful and the property is as picturesk as can be. My husband and I held our wedding in the backyard and it was absolutely perfect. Perfect For Family Reunions
You have everything here for the perfect family reunion. There are acres of land for outdoor play and exploring. The family loved the swimming pool, rowing on the pond, and petting the horses and goat. The house accommodated our three-generation family beautifully. The kitchen was stocked with every pot, bowl, utensil, and spice we needed for preparing our meals, and then we could all eat together in the 3-car garage which the owner turned into a rec room. In the evening make s'mores on one of the patios that has a place for a fire. Heaven!

Amazing property! Hidden Gem!
I rented this place for a weekend with 9 other guests for a Holy Cross reunion and it was spectacular. Gorgeous place, immaculately kept, incredible detail and the host were superb. I don't have one complaint. We have already decided as a group that we will stay there again.

A wonderful family reunion
Put simply, this place is amazing. I was searching for a house that could accommodate our extended family and provide enough things to do for ages ranging from 9 to 87. This was the perfect spot. First, the house is absolutely beautiful. The kitchen is enormous and well-equipped, the pub room was an ideal location for evening gatherings, and the yoga room was a delightful surprise. Our kids loved the pool, and we all enjoyed exploring the extensive grounds with its multiple patios. I strongly recommend this location for reunions and get-togethers. Ninth Annual Girls Count Weekend
This home was absolutely lovely. There were 14 of us and there was plenty of room for all of us. The house was impeccably clean and inviting. There are so many different areas to this house you need to take time to explore all the rooms and the decore unique to each room. The kitchen is bright and cheery with all the amenities, Bedrooms are cozy with wonderful bedding in each as well as all the bathrooms with luxurious towels. There are beautiful grounds to take a walk on and a nice pool. If you are looking for a place to get away and relax, this is the property for you. Claire is very easy to work, as well as her staff that greet you when you arrive to show you the place and answer any questions you may have. Everything was amazing.

Magnificent!
Just left our short 4 night stay at this gorgeous house and we had a wonderful time. To start with, the house itself is very charming! Each room is an adventure with lots of details and beautiful decor. We got a little lost in the beginning! There are so many rooms with nooks and crannies....we giggled as we tried to navigate through them all. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking as well! From the beautiful landscaping with fire pits and flowers......to a spectacular pool, complete with pool house! We didn't want to leave the property! My favorite times were early morning, having my coffee outside while the hummingbirds visited each flower and the butterflies fluttered around. The owner and staff were extremely kind and very helpful with any questions we had, and recommendations on what to do and where to eat! Thanks so much for a restful, fulfilled vacation with very special memories for us all.
