Great location. Airy, breezy, light design of rooms. Pretty! And clean. Just as the grounds, must be a delight in summer, The best was that we were upgraded to a better room: such a joy for our last night in the US before flying back to Europe. This was very sweet, thank you so much! One can tell that it is a well-kept place with a personal touch.

We spent a really relaxed week in Hamlet-Inn in Southampton. The staff was very friendly and satisfied all our wishes. Late arrival was no problem.

I felt as if booking on this site may have resulted in my getting the smallest room ive ever stayed in. Generally clean, buy there was an odd odor i couldnt identify the cause of. The A/C/heater didnt work. The large sofa barely fit and was missing cushions. Not even a shelf to hold the cable box (just resting on the sofa!). To top it off i pulled a towel off the shelf and a huge bug plopped out. Checked out 1st thing in the am to explore the beautiful area around it. Honestly despite the very nice staff i would not recommend

I demonstrated the remote control usage upon arrival which was early evening 5:45pm; plenty of time for us to assist you to be more comfortable!The Hamlet Inn takes pride in having a CLEAN & QUIET experience for our customers. We exterminate and NEVER have had any bug issues despite our 3.5 acers of beautiful grounds.

Denise was amazing, so sweet and helpful! Only issue was the bathroom had a funky smell. When we first walked in the whole room smelled a little off then it was fine once we closed the bathroom door. No idea what the cause was. Wasn’t unbearable though! Overall the stay was great besides that little issue

Beautiful and amazing stay‼️
It was an incredible experience and stay beautiful close to the beach if you’re a winter stroller like me. Denise and the young man working there are super amazing and awesome hosts definitely will return in the summer and definitely will recommend. Summer time fun pool and beach combined can’t go wrong 💯‼️

Not far from town and the beach. Super cute place with a nice clean room. Welcoming and helpful staff. I would like to return in the summer to use the pool and enjoy the patio area. Parking was easy and no issues with WiFi. Coffee maker in the room with extra coffee and cream available in the main office area. I booked one night and stayed two. I had to drive to restaurants and the beach but it wasn’t far and I imagine in the summer it would be a nice bike ride. They had bbqs available and the room had a mini fridge which was nice. I really liked the helpful staff.

The "King" and "Double Full" rooms are MUCH better than the "Queen" room. Lots of little glitches in all of them, but none truly terrible, except for the size of the "Queen" room (barely large enough to fit the bed!) and it's noisy A/C-Heat unit. Small showers may be considered "terrible" by large guests. Quaint, ageing motel that reminds me of places our family used to stay at in the 50's. Brass door keys are a fun throw-back.

An old motel that could be splendid if only updated. It gives the feel of yesteryear and is centrally located for vacation activities but also has a Mom & Pop feeling inviting relaxation. It was pretty disappointing and we almost left and went home (a 2 hour drive) but had to be back out in the area the following day so we stuck it out. Reception (Dylan) was a fabulous Host and most welcoming. It is an old and modified room with very old furnishings. Coffee Keurigs made up for what was lacking. There were stained sheets and bugs in the overhead skylight shade, EWWW, YUK! A little work (Floor refinishing) New toilets, since the toilet was the size seen in an elementary school and difficult to stand from. And perhaps new beds/linens and couches would help convince this traveler to stay here again. I cannot remark about the shower since we did not use it. Newer tiling (except for the floor) is a start in the right direction. OH, AND the TV was, like 18", ridiculous! Didn't even bother turning it on. My husband said, the sooner we go to sleep, the sooner we can leave.
