Spring Break & Holy Week (March 1st - April 9th, 2023): Restricted to Immediate Families Only. Immediate families are considered children, parents & grandparents only. No spring break groups will be permitted, regardless of age. Identification will be checked upon arrival. Day guests and visitors are not permitted at any time.

Welcome to Aquarius Penthouse #3, a 4 Bedroom/5.5 Bathroom Beachfront Penthouse located at Aquarius Condominiums on South Padre Island, Tx. This 10th floor condo was recently remodeled in 2023 and is situated on the northeast side of the building and takes up the majority of the 10th floor! The 180 degree views of the Gulf of Mexico, Laguna Madre Bay, and South Padre Island's beautiful beach are breathtaking from this vacation rental! Aquarius Condominiums has great amenities for guests to use. The pool is heated, which is a huge plus during our winter season. The pool area is large, and has an ample amount of lounge chairs to enjoy South Padre's tropical island climate. The complex offers private beach access for all rental guests.

The interior of the condo has an open concept floor plan. The kitchen, living area and dining area are perfect for gathering with friends or family. Guests will enjoy sitting in the living area and looking out into the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico or taking in the tropical sea breeze from one of the 4 spacious waterfront balconies! During Summer and holidays, this penthouse offers guests a front row seat to South Padre Island's famous firework shows over the bay!

Guests will love preparing meals in the large kitchen. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, and cooking utensils making cooking a breeze! Some other worthwhile kitchen amenities this penthouse includes is an espresso machine, Vitamix, and new range stove. The dining area is located in between the living area and kitchen. The large square dining table is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy a family meal while overlooking the ocean! There are two living areas with ample seating for guests to relax and lounge around in this penthouse making it comfortable for large groups.

This Penthouse accommodates up to 20 guests. All the bedrooms are very spacious, and the condo offers multiple balconies to take in fantastic ocean and bay views.
The master bedroom entails a king bed, flat screen tv, private balcony, and ensuite bathroom with a newly remodeled walk in shower.

The third bedroom entails two (2) full beds, flat screen tv, closet, and private balcony,

Aquarius Condominiums is centrally located on South Padre, and is within a 10 minute walk to a multitude of restaurants, bars, shopping, and SPI's entertainment district!
Parking is easy, as this vacation rental offers guests up to four (4) parking spots for their vehicles inside the gated complex.

Togetherness with privacy as well.

We lived this property for a family reunion. Beautiful view with easy access to the beach. Enough room for all of us to be together and yet we each had our bedroom and bathroom. We happened to hit good weather and it was fantastic!

Exceptional for Large Families

We stayed for three nights for our yearly family vacation that we take during the New Year holiday season. We have a large family with kiddos ranging in ages from 25 down to 8 years old and we often run into the problem of finding a VRBO that doesn't feel like we are packed in on top of each other. This unit was so inviting, clean, spatious and perfect for our family of 9. Each of our kids had their own bed and sleeping area - the kids room with multiple bunks, bean bags and the theater room were a huge hit - not to mention the space for everyone to be able to be in the kitchen together and have a comfortable place to sit. The location is perfectly situated within walking distance to many fun attractions, shops and restaurants. We had one issue with the gate not opening but the property management company was quick to address and fix the issue. The grounds were being worked on but the workers were very kind and courteous! My younger kids absolutely LOVED the pool area and were thrilled to see the snails and small lizards. I would highly recommend this unit for larger families or groups.

Modern remodel with great views

This property was excellent. While the building is older, it has been redone and they’ve included so many comforts. Beautiful kitchen with huge island/bar with a hidden playroom underneath. Spacious, relaxing living area with lots of bathrooms and great views. The only downside to this property is the low water pressure.

Family vacation

We were very pleased with Aquarius three. We loved all the modern new appliances, but we had trouble getting the stove and dishwasher to work. We wished there had been instructions left. We finally got the dishwasher working, but never the stove top. We also had wished there were places to hang some clothes just a bar would have been nice. We had a great time. The place was very clean. We would use it any time again

SPI Penthouse July 2023

Overall we we enjoyed the roominess and how clean the apartment was. However, 1. Key code did not work on arrival. Had to wait in hot conditions for key code to be changed. 2. Master BR was locked. Took over an hour to have it unlocked which further delayed planned activities. 3. Beach access is not conducive for handicap or elderly even with beach handicap wheelchair provided by the SPI fire department. 4.New tile floors are very slippery and hard to walk on. 5.BR ceiling fan remotes are not connected correctly. One remote effects the adjoining BRs. 6. Bathrooms do not have place to hold towels 7. 4:00 PM check in time is not conducive to planning other activities for date of arrival and entry delays totally destroyed planned activities for that day. 8. We were permitted later check out time when we asked. 9. Building staff was very friendly and as helpful as they could be.

Renters be aware!

This condo could be wonderful, but owners won't take care of it. Wonderful views of the gulf, great location, large kitchen, dinning area and living space.......but.....the master bedroom and bedroom with 2 double beds do NOT have any windows, which is a fire hazard. There are no outlets in 2 of the bathrooms, nor in the living area........so no reading lamps. You can hear the elevator all day/night long. Would not return unless owners put some money into it.

Be informed before you book this unit.

We were very disappointed with this unit. The location and views were great, but other than that, it appeared to be a unit for Spring Breakers who don’t care about anything but a bed to sleep in. We found numerous unsafe maintenance issues when we arrived including a rigged electrical power cord, a wall socket with no cover and a shower that didn’t work. The only GFI outlet is in one of the five bathrooms..not even one in the kitchen. The furnishings are very old and shabby with flat cushions and only one TV that had been updated. The walls, ceiling and wall moldings appeared to be original to the unit and had many holes and were dirty. Bathroom cabinets and doors had holes and rotted boards. The pool was supposed to be heated but was cold, and there were only six lounge chairs for the whole building. Overall, the unit showed a complete lack of attention and is certainly not a luxury property.
