You’re just a three-minute walk from the beach and newly built boardwalk at this 2BR/2BA duplex on South Padre Island. With an open design and light-filled rooms, it’s a great option for groups seeking a home base near the gulf.

Easily cook and chat with your travel companions in the open kitchen, boasting a large island for prepping dinner. Outdoors, a private deck offers a relaxing spot to chat, read a book, or listen to music in the sun. The rental can sleep up to six guests, with two full-size futons in the spacious living room and two queen beds in each bedroom. Looking for extra space? You can rent this property along with its adjoining duplex to accommodate a group of 12 total.

Cool tile floors, coastal artwork, and tons of natural light bring an easy-breezy feel to this rental. In the evenings, kick back in front of the 55” wall-mounted TV in the living area, which also has a pair of futons with full-size mattresses—perfect if you need extra sleeping space.

The open kitchen features a full suite of appliances and a large island with seating for four. When it’s time to eat, serve meals at a wooden dining table set for four. After dinner, head outside to enjoy the fresh air on your large, private deck. Bright and cheery tones feature in the two bedrooms, both with queen-size beds, a ceiling fan, and a mirrored closet. These rooms each have their own bath with a tub/shower combination. Other perks at this rental include complimentary Wi-Fi, cable TV, and a washer/dryer.

When you feel like a day beside the gulf, it’s just a three-minute walk to the waves and the nearest sun-drenched strip of beach. Or hire bikes at Wheels on Padre - only a five-minute walk from home.

There are better places

On our checking day, we arrived at about 5:30 pm and noticed after unloading our groceries that the fridge wasn’t cooling. We were told this is typical and to wait 24 hours for it be fully cooled. That’s bologna - we have another property where the fridge is cold within 2 hours, no way it should take a day. Also, this place need to be sprayed for roaches. As for being pet friendly, the yard is full of stickers and there is no enclosure to make it easier for the animals. There is also no security light outside which makes putting the door code in difficult without using your phone as a flashlight. Garage was also promoted, however it does not open and it too small for most vehicles. There are better places to stay for sure.

Cute place, close to beach access.

A cute condo very close to beach access #5 & 6. Centrally located to provide great access to most of the Island. We used a golf cart for easy entry and exit, as the parking area is right on Gulf Blvd. Obviously pet friendly and could use some updating. The furniture is well used and does not match the pictures. The AC could not keep up, so the temperature inside got pretty warm during the day and freezing at night. The garage door wouldn't open, it appears to be off the track. All in all, a cute place for a short stay with pets.

Received a text the morning before check in advising we could check in at noon instead of 3pm which was awesome in and of itself. Then we get there and it was extremely clean and comfortable. We took off to the beach and it was literally 3 minutes away. Just cross the street and you're there, literally. Perfect place!

The cockroach problem is an ongoing since mid 2019 and doesn't seem to be a priority to fix. I had manage issues EVERY day with this place. Was I acknowledged? Yes with an apology every single time for the daily new find of cockroaches, the DirectTV that wasn't working (we aren't big TV people so that wasn't critical), about all the paper products that weren't available, including trash bags, not to mention a shower curtain that I was afraid will fall off the wall. My small compensation wasn't enough to replace all the time that I spent dealing with these problems on my vacation. ***

Amazing Stay

Our stay here was excellent. The only bad thing we had was our door code didn’t work when we got there but I called and was immediately given a usable code. The location was excellent. Close to the beach and in the middle of everything, great food and bars walking distance from the condo.

Lovely Beach Condo

We enjoyed our time in this lovely beach condo and especially liked that it was just about 3 minutes walk to the beach. It's not a modern or new unit by any means but very comfortable. The only negative was the cockroaches! Unfortunately there were quite a few roaming the condo.

Roaches

The roaches were crawling on our bodies while trying to sleep. In the 3 nights only got 15 hours of sleep. Lastly I ended up paying 90% more than advertised. Owners fee and cleaners were excessive then tax on all miscellaneous.
