Our petite but family-friendly vacation home has twin beds in the hallway alcove plus a sofa bed. Our little corner of paradise is worth its weight in gold thanks to the best view of South Padre Island you could ever hope to see. We hope you'll enjoy the view and the stay as much as we do.

Refundable Damage Deposit: Rentals may require a Refundable Damage Deposit from March through Easter weekend. The Rental Company will collect this deposit by cash or credit card at check-in. If paying by credit card, the Primary Renter must present a credit card that matches their name upon check-in. Age Restrictions: The minimum age requirement for renters is 25. As per Homeowner Association Rules & Regulations, THIS CONDO DOES NOT ALLOW YOUNG ADULT/SPRING BREAK GROUPS.

- This rental is family-friendly and non-smoking.
- The number of guests must not exceed the stated maximum occupancy.
- Parties are strictly prohibited.
- Please keep noise levels to a minimum to respect other guests and property owners.
- Professionally laundered and sanitized linens may be exchanged for free on the east side of our off-site Guest Welcome Center from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Laundry detergent and sofa sleeper linens are available upon request at our off-site Guest Welcome Center.
- The pet fee is $25 a day plus taxes. Only small, non-shedding, well-behaved dogs are allowed.

The door bolt broke and wouldn’t open at 10 at night. Was told to go pick up a key, had to drive to go get it just so it wouldn’t work. Had to wait for someone to come try a master key, just so it wouldn’t work. Didn’t get placed into a new condo until 12:30am, without any of our belongings. Try being with 3 children ages 0 - 4 without anything for their night time routines. No diapers or medication for babies that ended up with fevers. No apologies, no reimbursement. Nothing. Horrible stay/experience.

Terrible experience – I regret booking this placeI stayed at Florence I, and honestly, I should’ve listened to the reviews. I saw multiple complaints from previous guests but gave it the benefit of the doubt. Big mistake.Communication before arrival was fine, but the moment we saw the building, we knew we had made a bad decision. The exterior already looked run-down, and it only got worse from there.The unit had a strong musty smell as soon as we walked in. The furniture and kitchen appliances were old and some had visible mold. The bathroom curtain was covered in black mold, the bed sheets were in poor condition, and the ceiling had large black mold stains. Everything felt damp and neglected.The pool and jacuzzi were outdated—yes, they do daily maintenance, but it doesn’t hide how old everything is. I was honestly worried for our health. My son got sick by the second day with allergies and a cold, likely from the poor air quality.The only positive thing is the ocean view and the location. But if you expect a clean, modern, and healthy place to stay—DO NOT book this place. I won’t make the same mistake again.

Wonderful Place

Close to everything would book again. The only issue to me was the apartment number on the parking voucher that has to be left in the car window. For safety measure I dont think that should be on there. Other than that was'nt loud. Was able to see the sunrise from the patio which was Amazing. Easy access to the beach.

Was okay, they definitely take advantage of location with their prices

Check in was wonderful. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Room wasn’t all that much for the price we paid. I had to wash dishes before using. The ceiling had dirt from vents. The side of fridge had caked on something all over it. I was to afraid to wipe it. And the bed, my husband and I have never slept on something so uncomfortable. And my husbands military. That’s saying something. We experienced back pain for 2 days from springs pressing into our backs. Other than that the staff was friendly and the view was amazing. Had a beautiful time. Even seen a dolphin hunting our last day from the balcony. It was beautiful.

Nice, cozy beachfront property

We enjoyed our stay at the cozy 1BD apartment in Aug 2023. It's important to us that our growing teenage boys have separate beds to sleep in and the twin bunkbeds fit the bill. Though they are ~5'8" they were still able to fit. The view of the beach is awesome and was wonderful to be able to wake up every morning to the sight and sound of the beach. Only downside was that the beds were a little hard. Would recommend that the property managers invest in upgrading the matresses throughout.

Great view but too small for family of four

My husband and I and our two young children stayed here for three nights in late June. We booked it because it was right on the beach and had a great balcony view of the ocean. The view of the beach is great. The pool was nice but pretty small, sort of a lap pool. The condo itself was just so so. It was VERY tight for a family of four. When the listing says petite they are not kidding. The girls liked having bunk beds in the hallway but I wish there were some sort of safety rail, as it made me nervous having my 5 year old sleep on the top bunk with the hard tile floors. There was also no ladder of any sort so she was unable to get up and down on her own. The kitchen is very tiny. We did not want to eat out bc of covid so we bought quite a bit of groceries our first night. There was not even an empty cupboard or pantry to put any of our dry goods. I was able to move some of the dishes around (they had enough dishes for a family of 10) so I had one shelf to put groceries but all our other stuff was just out on the counters. There also is no dishwasher. The TVs in the living room and bedroom are ridiculously tiny. I understand we are there for the beach but in the evening we wanted to be able to watch TV since we couldn't do anything else due to covid. We also had an issue with our AC causing the vent to rattle in the bedroom at night. It made it hard to sleep the first night. We did call management the next morning and they came out and fixed it. We also heard a lot of noise from the upstairs neighbor during the night. It literally sounded like they were rolling balls on the ground. I had brought a white noise machine and had to turn that up so we could sleep. The bathroom is a decent size but the shower head is very low. I'm only 5'7" and had to bend down to rinse my hair. The unit overall was clean but there were some dark red stains on one of the couch pillows. If all you care about is the beach and the ocean, this condo is right on the beach and has a great ocean view. But for a family or group who will be spending a decent amount of time in the condo itself, I wouldn't recommend this one. We would not stay here again.
