The property itself was lovely. Great location - walking distance to the bustle of Sorrento but not in the center of it.The lower rating is not because of the property itself, but the level of service from the hosts. When we expressed interest in booking a service (such as taxi, etc). the host was very responsive. When we requested assistance outside of booking things, the level of support was lacking. Two examples:1). During our stay, the burners on the stovetop malfunctioned. The burners were sparking when the knob was in the 'off' position. There was also a persistent 'click, click, click' sound. We contacted the host who responded the issue would resolve itself and let the stovetop dry out. There was never moisture. For two days the burners sparked and clicked. Fortunately, we were able to figure out how to turn the breaker off. After two days the sparking/clicking stopped. Our experience was that the host was not responsive to our concerns about the sparking burners and possible gas leaks. 2). Upon arrival, the airline misplaced one of our bags. The host was helpful in booking a taxi to return to the airport to retrieve the bag. I requested a receipt to attempt reimbursement from the airline. During check-in, the Estate4Home representative said they would provide me this receipt. After several follow-up attempts, they still have not provided it. My issue is that they told me in-person and in-writing they would provide me with requested documentation and have not.
