Within easy reach of Sorrento, yet removed from the bustle of its livelier surroundings, the property offers an intimate Mediterranean retreat defined by privacy, character and understated elegance.
Set amidst more than 3,000 sqm of beautifully maintained private gardens, the villa unfolds across lush grounds, secluded outdoor corners and inviting terraces, creating a natural sense of space and tranquillity. The sea provides a constant backdrop to life at La Rosa, from quiet moments in the garden to leisurely gatherings around the swimming pool and outdoor dining areas.
The residence retains the distinctive charm of its historic origins, with traditional majolica tiles, delicate frescoes and original architectural details complemented by a thoughtful restoration and contemporary comforts. Every element contributes to an atmosphere that feels authentic and individual, offering a refined alternative to more conventional holiday properties.
A Residence with Distinctive Character
Arranged over three levels, La Rosa offers six principal bedroom accommodations, each with its own layout and personality, allowing families and groups to enjoy time together while retaining a degree of independence.
In the main building, large kitchens, and either a terrace or a large outdoor area where you can drink in the breathtaking views of the Gulf of Naples and the Island of Capri.
Ground Floor
The entrance hall leads to four accommodations, each combining private facilities with a distinctive relationship to the surrounding gardens.
A double bedroom with en-suite shower room. An additional twin bedroom is available on request at an extra charge.
A double bedroom with en-suite shower room and a private outdoor area furnished for relaxed moments in the garden.
A suite comprising a sleeping area, bathroom and living room, with direct garden access and an outlook towards the shared outdoor whirlpool.
A double bedroom with bathroom and separate living area, complemented by a small sea-view balcony and direct garden access via steps. The living room has a visual outlook into the neighbouring bedroom; the two accommodations nevertheless have separate entrances and bathrooms and no shared interior spaces.
First Floor
A dedicated laundry area provides a washing machine and essential laundry facilities.
Second Floor
Two further accommodations offer additional privacy and distinctive architectural details.
A charming suite with living area, shower room and sleeping quarters in a frescoed loft, together with a small garden-view balcony.
The principal suite, featuring a spacious living room, bathroom and two double bedrooms, one set within a frescoed loft. A private terrace extends the living space outdoors, while access to the rooftop is exclusively through this suite.
Outdoor Spaces for Private Moments and Shared Experiences
The extensive gardens are central to the experience of La Rosa, providing a succession of spaces in which to relax, dine and enjoy the surrounding scenery at an unhurried pace.
A dedicated outdoor communal area features a kitchen, lounge and dining table accommodating up to 16 guests. Nearby, the main swimming pool, pergola-shaded dining area and barbecue create a welcoming setting for long lunches and evenings beneath the Mediterranean sky.
A wood-fired oven and professional kitchen are also available for culinary service provided exclusively by the villa staff. Two guest bathrooms conveniently serve the outdoor entertaining area.
The swimming pool and shared whirlpool are not heated.
Location & Practical Details
La Rosa is approximately a 15-minute drive from Sorrento and a 10-minute walk from the centre of Massa Lubrense, combining convenient access to local amenities with a more secluded residential setting.
Private on-site parking is available for up to five cars. The access road is exceptionally narrow, however, and guests are advised to avoid renting a car or to choose a small vehicle suitable for the local conditions.
La Rosa is a residence for those who appreciate the quieter side of the Sorrento Peninsula: a historic setting, generous private grounds, enchanting sea views and spaces that bring people together while allowing everyone to enjoy their own corner of tranquillity.

Due to narrow private access road, we advise against the use of cars. Free parking is available at close distance from the property.
Extras must be paid in cash locally when prepaid to the agency or locally on card 12% taxes to be considered extras.
Services like breakfast, cooking classes and dinners, must be booked for the entire group.
When a minimum of participants is mentioned, it means that for groups smaller of 8ppl the service will
be available only by paying as 8, if a group is composed of 8ppl or more, everyone will have to attend the service and pay for it.
In order to arrange check-in, the guest must contact the key older at least 24 hours before the arrival.

Access to the villa by external service providers including but not limited to masseurs, photographers, babysitter or any other service, is note permitted.
Access to the villa by visitors who are not included in the original reservationis subject to prior approval by the property.
