We had previously visited the Richard III Pub last summer and were very impressed with the welcome we received and the food on that occasion, so we decided to stay here this year while visiting family in the area. Once again, we received a warm welcome from the staff member who checked us in quickly and told us where our room was. We stayed in Room 5, which was spacious, clean and comfortable, with tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was also clean and tidy and had a particularly large shower. There were a couple of small things we felt could be improved. The upstairs corridor is decorated in quite dark green, which makes it feel rather dim, and there are a couple of steps along the corridor which aren't immediately obvious as they blend in with the carpet. A couple of small "Mind the Step" signs might be helpful, particularly for guests arriving or moving around the property in low light. We also didn't notice any pillow or mattress protectors in the room, although these may have been fitted underneath the bedding. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and the room itself was spacious and clean. However, having enjoyed our previous visit so much, we unfortunately didn't feel that this stay matched that experience, and on balance we wouldn't choose to stay again.

Super gelegen, Country Stil, tolle Räumlichkeiten, sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Dürfte etwas schneller aufräumen bzw. abräumen im Restaurant Bereich z. B. beim Frühstück oder in der Bar.
