No 5-Star Standard
Unfortunately, the hotel does not deserve 5 Stars. While the location is good, friendliness of staff is hit and miss. Staff at check-in for example urgently needs some hospitality schooling. Staff on the ground level, however, goes out of their way to help. Rooms are dated. Thus the sink in our bathroom was constantly clogged, despite efforts of housekeeping to fix it. The shower hose was broken and violently leaking which is no 5-Star standard. When checking out, the staff member at check-in/out didn’t ask how we liked our stay or even smiled. It takes a whole lot more for guests to feel welcome when charging those prices. We will not choose this hotel again when visiting Singapore for another time.

Nicht zu empfehlen
Es waren zu viele Kleinkinder da,diese rannten nachts im Korridor rum,am pool wurde man z.b nassgespritzt,zu laut,eltern passten überhaupt nicht auf,vielen touris haben sich wegen der Lautstärke beschwert,jedoch passierte garnichts. Wir wollte 1 zimmer mit 2 Betten.Die Betten waren nur 10 cm auseinander,das zimmer viel zu klein.es gibt keine Lichtschalter,nur ne box.man muss es einfach können,wird erwartet,zudem waren die zimmer und das gesamte hotel extrem klimatisiert.sehr kalt.Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr schlecht für ein 5 sterne hotel.1 sorte schnittkäse,das wars.der rest war chinesisches reisessen mit sosse.viel zu wenig auswahl.als tee gab es nur schwarztee.wir müssten sogar den einen tag eine halbe std an der schlange stehen damit wir frühstücken können,sie hatten keinen Tisch.es hat nichts geschmeckt und ausruhen konnten wir uns auch nicht.nie wieder.krank zurück.

Biggest disappointment ever
It is a really 3 Star hotel. 5 Star is a joke. Non existing concierge, bad running air condition and lot of other issues make it a normal 3 star hotel. Biggest disappointment ever, expecting a 5 star hotel. Would be ok as a 3 star…….. but unfortunately priced as a 5 star.

The hotel is located in the heart of Singapore, perfect to reach everything by walk. The staff is very friendly and helpful. But everything else leaves much to be desired: - bedsheet had blood stains (looks like from nosebleeds) and the room is very noisy (you can hear every shower of your neighbour). - the selection of the breakfast buffet is really, really small and not worth the money.

Sehr freundliches Personal, schöne und moderne Zimmer, sehr gute lage. Wie hatten überraschenderweise ein kostenloses Upgrade des Zimmers erhalten(maybe Flitterwochen). Bereiche wie clarke quay sind z.b gut zu fuß zu erreichen, zudem liegt das hotel nah der bahnstation City Hall von wo aus man die meisten Bereiche der Stadt sehr gut erreichen kann. Wir hatten jetzt nicht viel Kontakt zum Personal, aber der Kontakt den wir hatten war generell sehr gut. Das Personal war immer zuvorkommend(greetings to kelvin, the guest manager). Einzig die Zimmerbedienung per App ist etwas fidselig, hat aber auch einige vorteile gehabt(steuerung der klimaanage vom Bett aus :)).

Like the location. Very accessible to everything. Stayed 4N 5 days. Booked premier quad city view they said but the view was the roof top of nxt door hotel. The room was definitely not a quad room. We dont even have table for laptop. There was a small folded table but seems like supposed to be a table by the window but was removed and a single bed was pushed bside the window and another not comfy bed inserted in between a King bed and another single bed. We don't even have space to walk in between beds. Not worth the price! Very disappointed.

Excellent in every way: beautiful and comfortable with classic charm yet very modern facilities and the friendliest most helpful staff I’ve ever encountered—hotels in the US could definitely take lessons from them! Also very nice shower & lots of lights in the room - unlike most hotels in the US today that feel like a dark cave. Oh, and the breakfast is great! Special thanks to Hema and Marnani for their help but truly everyone showed wonderful hospitality.

Loved the crystal club rooms and services, well worth it if in your budget. Pool area great. Good location, walkable (Heat permitting) to all central attractions. (MBS a 30 Min walk). Friendly helpful staff.
