Great location, nice unit. Finding the unit seemed harder than necessary - we think the Unit # should have been placed next to the Parking space number in clear view. Outside patio could have been cleared of numerous webs before our arrival. Entrance door lock failed because of weak batteries - this required a service visit to remedy. We were also without hot water from 3:00 PM one day until 3:00 PM the next which was pretty inconvenient. When we called the property manager to inform them of the problem - they were already aware of the issue. Seems like they could have sent us a text or email as soon as they knew to inform us of the issue and when it was going to be resolved. We feel there should be some kind of compensation for this issue as it caused changes in dinner plans and activities during that period. We realize problems occur but when paying top dollar for vacation accommodations you have high expectations. We would like the opportunity to talk with someone about how this can be resolved. There should be a binder in the unit with owner manuals for appliances, we found the "City Market" discount card in a drawer the day after we had done our grocery shopping - that could have been noted in the binder. All said - we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying again next year. This was our 5th year of staying in the Silverthorne area.
