Thanks Tim! Those ants have been a pain in our side! We have it blocked off now to get the trees and bushes cut way back from the house as pest control thinks that is the issue.

We had pest control out to spray before your arrival & since they were dead, it sounds like they were successful. However, I should have sent housekeeping in to check before your arrival since it had been a few days since anyone had been there, that is my fault. I hope you were still able to enjoy yourselves and I hope you will give us another chance to host you in the future.

Thanks for your feedback, Debra. Our fireplace technician found a leak in the control valve just prior to your arrival. For safety reasons he shut it off while the part was on order. We have all new towels :) After 12-18 months, we rotate out all towels at our cabins using the Grandeur Hospitality brand from Costco. Unfortunately, you stayed just before the purge/refresh. I must disagree with your statement "Picture of cabin view was deceiving." Photos 12, 29 and 30 are captioned and show the view (from the porch dining bar); the view of the driveway (from the street); and the view from across the fishing pond toward the cabin(s). Because we have an identical cabin next door, it's important to have photos with captions that explain the location and relationship to the pond and neighboring cabin. I take our listing's accuracy seriously. Two days ago I uploaded 24 new interior photos after several updates to This Away. Debra, I would love to have you back to see the improvements and enjoy new towels and fireplace!

The owners came in right after you and made quite a few updates: over-the-stove microwave; new dining table, desk and office chair, lighting and even new toilets (the elongated style seat).
