I've been coming to this hotel for already many years whenever I had business trips to South Korea, but this time I was quite upset with the concierge service.
I had a problem with my US business card so I had to call citibank since sometimes they block it while I travel abroad so I asked the concierge to wait for the extra charges for my dog (They charge 36600 won per night for a dog stay, which is not indicated on the website)when I paid for the roomstay. I had to book this hotel for several separate reservations since the booking system does not allow a consecutive reservation (which was another very inconvenient matter), so I had to check out on Dec 27, and check in again on the same day for another two days. I asked the guy at the concierge to wait for the dog stay charge until my US card comes clear in the evening but he gave me a very hard time making me repeat myself over and over. It was extremely unpleasant. His reason was everything had to be paid at the checking out since I made the reservation through expedia so they have to process each reservation separately but I was checking right IN, and only was asking for him to wait to charge dog stay until I clear the issue with US citibank, whilst I already paid for the previous stay AND the guarantee for the check in! I've been a loyal customer for this hotel, and the guy at the concierge had no understanding at all YET he insinuated his points. Is this how they treat their long-term customers? A VERY unpleasant staff
