„It was amazing. So first of all there is a remote gate to get to the house which makes you feel like you are visiting royalty. The white outside is like a bungalow in the middle of wilderness. It is super modern and renovated. The outdoor space is also so beautiful with its large front porch and smaller back yard porches. There is lush plants and coconut and banana trees in the back and all sorts of greenery. The bathrooms are super modern. There are plenty of towels, bags and condiments etc. ...

„Modern facilities with really nice stone counters, security gates, privacy and hot tub. Each room had its own view. One sofa was broken, ants appeared after the first day and washer was broken. We were next to a cow field which was actually nice. The area was off the main road and quiet, in between the La Fortuna downtown and the volcano.“

„This 2 story rental villa has a great view of Volcan Arenal from the second story. It overlooks a farm with elephant grass used for grazing animals. The location is about 2 km south of the center of La Fortuna, so a car is necessary. It is close to several of the tour outfitters that do canyoneering and rafting. It is initially hard to see on your first visit (look for the Sapiens sign on Ruta 702) because the group of 3 houses are set 70 meters south of the road and accessed via a thin 1 lane ...

„We really enjoyed the quiet village and the house's amazing views of the volcano and lake! We saw beautiful birds everywhere. Loved the swings and the 3rd floor lookout! So peaceful. The only drawbacks were, one night the neighborhood dogs barked for an hour and we had a little trouble finding the house but Erika went out of her way to talk us through it and had her daughter meet us! Also, the first and second floor are only connected by outdoor steps. It was great for us because our teens ...
