„It was really a great stay. Every little thing was considered. The studio was perfectly equipped, quiet in a beautiful setting. There was even a small Christmas tree for us. The welcome from Welcome Center Explore El Castillo CR was also very friendly. Thank you for the great time. P.S. We managed the road without 4 wheel. It was okay with a car class 2 and a good driver. Fortuna/Monteverde is really really touristic. But the studio is away from all this. Don't mind to book.“

We told Cristian there were a few minor things that would make this place even more appealing. First and foremost a microwave oven would be a huge upgrade. „Cabañas del Rio was a wonderful place to stay in La Fortuna. We stayed in the family unit with three queen beds and a kitchen. It worked out great for our family of 6. For meals, we could cook right there (the Super Rosvil market is a short walk away) or we could go out to eat - there's Mario's place on the next corner for easy food, or an easy walk to downtown for lots of other options). „Everything went well, we really enjoyed our stay. It’s a great location, just a few minutes outside of the busy downtown area and very close to the hot springs at Tabacon. ATV tours are almost Nextdoor… very close. The pool/jacuzzi was a nice perk being able to utilize it with some degree of privacy. Directions were adequate, just look for the sign on the side of the building as soon as you exit the highway and watch out for drop going from pavement to gravel…. It’s substantial but not an issue ...
