The space

This stylish and updated 3 bedroom 2.5 bathroom home sleeps up to 6 guests. It’s been thoughtfully decorated with a modern contemporary, slightly southwest design.

Lower Level:
As you enter the home on the lower level, you’ll find bench seating, a coat rack for your outerwear, bags and hats. You will also find a vessel containing handcrafted walking sticks for you to use on your hikes.

All bedrooms are located on this lower level.

Primary Guest Room #1:
The main Primary guest room has a private full bath with double sinks, a walk-in shower and private toilet area (towels, shampoo, conditioner and hair dryer included). Simplistically decorated with modern southwest finishes, this room has a King sized bed with a memory foam mattress, plenty of pillows and high thread count bedding. The walk-in closet with built-in cabinetry has plenty of room for storing personal items. Relax and unwind by watching your favorite shows on the smart TV. This room has immediate access to the outdoor hot tub and private deck.

Outdoor Patio Deck:
Direct access from the Primary bedroom, this very private outdoor lounge area has a large hot tub waiting for the next guest to soak in. It’s a peaceful place to take in the beautiful silence of the surrounding area while star-gazing. We’ve fitted the area with plenty of modern, comfortable seating - a great place for your morning coffee or a zen-like, tranquil location for a yoga mat. Note: Hot tub maintenance and treatment happens twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays.

Guest Room #2:
The King guest room is thoughtfully and beautifully decorated with modern finishes. Enjoy a restful night’s sleep on the memory foam mattress, soft linens and room darkening shades. There’s plenty of storage for personal items and this room has access to the guest bathroom just steps away. There’s a ceiling fan for those wanting a bit of cooler air.

Guest Room #3:
Twin guest room with 2 twin beds. East meets west in this tastefully decorated, tranquil guest room. The vibrant red and blue antique Persian Karaja style rug counter balances the blues hues in the headboards, bed pillows and throws. A perfect place to cozy-up and unwind and reflect on the days adventures.

Guest Bathroom:
Full Guest bath with shower-tub combo, marble top sink, large mirror and plenty of storage. Guests will find shampoo, conditioner, soap, towels and a hair dryer in this bathroom.

Laundry Room located on this floor, just outside of the front door with full size washer and dryer.

Upper Level:

Living Space:
There’s a large main living area with a high ceiling, that spans the entire top floor along with the kitchen and dining area. It has amazing views, whether you’re inside or out, of Thunder Mountain, Chimney Rock, Coffee Pot Rock and Sugar Loaf. There are two large comfy sofas, an oversized club chair, cocktail and side tables looking onto the gas fireplace. The corner lounge-style chair next to the large glass sliding door offers a nice space for reading or sitting and looking at the views of the surrounding mountains. There’s a TV with streaming capabilities and a few board games.

Outdoor Deck:
Did we mention the views! There is a wrap-around deck located adjacent to the top floor’s living space. It’s the perfect extension to the indoor space. It’s set up with comfy seating, a fire table and BBQ grill. It’s the perfect area for stargazing, chatting with friends and family, and sipping on a glass of wine. Whether you are visiting during the winter when the red rocks are dusted with snow or during the spring when vibrant orange hues radiate off the mountains, the views from this home never get old. (Note: fire table may be restricted during summer months)

Kitchen:
The kitchen is fully stocked with anything that you might need to make meals. Besides the kitchen basics, we also have a rice cooker, Ninja blender (perfect for smoothies), drip coffee maker, coffee bean grinder, French press, crockpot and waffle maker. We have a reverse osmosis water system - no need to buy water just bring your own personal water bottle.

Dining Area:
There’s a beautiful live edge style dining table with six modern leather dining chairs. The seating area is fitted for six plus there is additional, less formal seating available at the kitchen island - perfect to grab a quick bite before hitting the trails.

Powder Room:
A half bath is located on this floor.

Note: There is a circular style staircase inside the home, taking you up to the living space and kitchen. We have a child-proof gate available for those with small children. Just let us know ahead of time, and we can make sure it’s set up. We also have two additional exterior staircases that are great to use for bringing groceries in. If someone in your group is elderly or has trouble with stairs, this might not be a good fit. We are happy to answer questions though! Just let us know.

When we are in town visiting, we love our home and we think you will too!

Guest access

Guests have access to the entire property starting at 4 pm on the date of their check in until 10 am on the date of their check out. Access via Keypad.

Check-in is 4 p.m.
To keep things fair for arriving guests, check-out is 10am. Thank you for helping us keep the home ready for everyone.

Pack N Play and Highchair available upon request.

Due to City guidelines, no mail is allowed to be delivered to the property. This includes anything coming from USPS, UPS, FedEx - Amazon deliveries. Please use the UPS store or an Amazon locker pick-up.

No Pets!

No Smoking or Vaping inside or outside the house.

No Mountain Bikes or muddy shoes are allowed inside the house.

Local Quiet Hours are 9 p.m. - 9 a.m.

Due to our dark sky ordinance, outdoor lights must be turned off when you are not outside.

NO FIRES May 1 - October 1 or any other time the host requests, due to drought or fire ban.

We are not liable for items left behind. $50 + the cost of shipping will be charged for items left behind that require shipping.

By law, this home may NOT be used for events, parties, or large gatherings.

We regularly see javelina, deer, skunks, and bobcats. Do not approach or feed these animals!

Please do not unplug electronics or move furniture.

Please only use the hot tub towels for when you are using the hot tub (they are the striped towels that we provide).

Please use your own accounts for Netflix, Prime, HBO Max, etc... Please be sure to log out of those accounts when you check out.

* Follow all posted precautions.
* Do not leave children unsupervised at any time.
* Please do not use glassware or breakables at the hot tub.
* A fee will be assessed to drain and refill the hot tub due to glass breakage, or excessively dirty water in the hot tub.
* After use, please put hot tub cover back on and secure in place.
