Location, scenery, privacy, class, amenities, etc. This place had all the boxes checked; but, it didn't end there. It can and did include some surprises that I had hoped for, but didn't expect. Sure, Thunder Mountain is right outside your back yard. Yes, there is a soothing waterfall that I enjoyed seeing and hearing each day. Of course, you will be very close to everything you will need or want to do on your vacation, including everything uptown Sedona has to offer. Heck, if you need a Walgreens or other numerous grocery stores at your beckon call, you have it...within reason. All of the aforementioned are GREAT reasons to choose this property. But, combined with the pleasure of meeting the owners (Michelle and Richard) and the numerous wildlife in a neighborhood setting as opposed to the expected forest setting was what made this vacation so memorable. (I won't ruin the surprise of all of the wildlife we saw, but there were plenty.) It was a pleasure to get to know Michelle and Richard. They were readily available for me when I needed them. They are personable, professional, conscientious, and courteous...but, most importantly, available. They take pride in caring for their property and renters alike.
This home had everything I needed. Anything I didn't have, but wanted, was just down the street. There are items for brewing, cooking, baking, grilling, warming, etc. The kitchen is well appointed as is the rest of this home. The beds are quite comfortable and spacious. The master bathroom is right out of a five star hotel. There are plenty of windows throughout the house and can be opened to hear the soothing sounds of the waterfall, not to be outdone by nature. We went at the beginning of July, but, we still enjoyed the fresh air and sounds. The rooms are spacious and quite comfortable. A TV in each bedroom is a big plus. We had no trouble with the Wi-Fi at any point. The main room was comfortable and provided plenty of room for all of us (there were 5). I could write quite a bit more describing this home and it's owners, but that could mean that you might lose out on the opportunity to book it and experience it for yourself. All in all, there is little reason not to put this home on your short list of vacation rentals when visiting Sedona. I know that it will be number one on mine. We plan to come back. It is truly an escape to serenity.
