„This is the second time we stayed here and really enjoy the stream, the patio, the area and Priya is a delight! We were here on July 4th and didn't hear one firework go off all night! What a nice escape from the Bay Area. Thank you!“

„A gorgeous historic hotel centrally located to shopping and restaurants. The hotel bar and restaurant were excellent. We opted for the King Studio and had a nice sized room. Others in our party had small rooms with queen sized beds. We will definitely will return. “

„This is a recently renovated Gold Rush era hotel, very quaint and authentic. The rooms and bathrooms have been updated to modern standards which is nice, but have authentic period decor/antiques. The town is VERY small and cute, extremely quiet (in general) and a walkable historic self-guided tour. It makes a great base of operations for exploring the area. A couple of things to know: it is 3 story, but because of the age, there is no elevator (typical with Gold Rush era hotels). They have one ...

„This property is really a hidden gem of a hotel. The rates are very reasonable and the area around the hotel is beautiful. The property even has a natural waterfall and a fern grotto which is extraordinary. The rooms are older but very clean and well maintained. Also the beds are very comfortable. The room also has a small refrigerator and microwave. All in all this is a place you should really consider. I know i would definitely come back. “

„I stayed in Daphne, a cute single room. Perfect for just me and one night. Very clean, plenty spacious. My only complaint was that it was very bright in the room all-night due to lights outside & curtains that werent black out. “

„Sehr kleines Motel mit überschaubarem Frühstück. Es ist nicht günstig, hat aber in der teuren Gegend das beste Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Zimmerausstattung ist nicht die neueste, hat uns aber auch völlig gereicht. Alles in allem ist es natürlich nicht das perfekte Motel für 2 Wochen Urlaub, aber wir waren mit unseren vier Übernachtungen vollkommen zufrieden und können es weiterempfehlen.“

„My fiancé and I took a last minute trip and this place was perfect. Freshly renovated, we booked the room with an open ceiling. I could tell it was newly remodeled just by looking and smelling. The nice young woman who I believe is the owner was very gracious and accommodating. It’s walking distance to old downtown which has plenty of restaurants. The parking lot can be a little tricky due to the design and space. I highly recommend this quaint inn and hope to make a return visit. “

„I need to travel to grass Valley for two months for my nursing program. I found this hotel and decided to book it based on the price and was not expecting much because of the price. I was pleasantly surprised! The unit is very big. When you first walk in, you have a bathroom area to the left and then a fridge and microwave on the right and then you walk down a few stairs into the actual room which is a very large space. It doesn’t come with a lot of extras, but it was definitely worth the price ...

„It’s great when you can support an independent motel instead of the big chains. We enjoyed a clean comfortable shower and sleep in a comfortable very well kept little motel. The a/c was wonderful, cool, with a steady sound that never awakened me the way the ones at too many other hotels have on our cross country trip. “
