„No real complaints. It was very clean and quite convenient. The shared bathroom was no problem as it’s not overcrowded and I never ran into anybody else. The only thing is that the outside seems to be under construction and there are a couple of loose bricks on the way down the pathway to the entrance of this place so watch your step. But that was at the time of this review. I’m sure it’ll be finished up in the near future. “

I love that it was clean, quiet and had a shared kitchen. even though it has 5 other rooms with people staying in them we never saw them or heard them. everyone respected the rules and space. we shared a bathroom with 2 other rooms and never had a problem. it was always left clean. There is a Go Bus and a transit bus a few blocks away and restaurants, stores, etc. I would stay there again! also very affordable. “

"Dear Sheraton,
Unfortunately, I must say that I am truly disappointed. After our luggage arrived with a slight delay, we were quite exhausted when we checked in. Upon entering our room, we found that the sofa bed for the children had not been prepared. This is not very thoughtful when a room is booked for four people, including two children.
After a quick phone call, we decided to spend some time in the lounge while the bed was being made. Unfortunately, there was an issue with our room key card, and we were unable to open the door, which meant another trip to the front desk to get a new key issued.
In the lounge itself, we were surprised by how few refreshments were available. We were aware that we had missed the dinner service, but to find nothing except an apple, a banana, and some soft drinks was quite disappointing. We are used to a much broader selection in other lounges.
Back in the room, the sofa bed had been unfolded but still lacked pillows and blankets. Are the children expected to freeze? It took two more phone calls and another 45 minutes before we finally received the bedding. By then, the children were completely overtired and cranky.
Breakfast the next morning was okay. We had promised the kids waffles or pancakes and, especially in Canada, maple syrup. Unfortunately, none of these were available either.
On the positive side, the beds were very comfortable and the room was clean.

"Das Fairfield Hotel hat uns betr. Überbuchung kurzfristig ins Hotel Crowne Plaza umgebucht, mit Mail Nachricht.
Grundsätzlich haben wir absolut nichts dagegen, aber da müssten die Verantwortlichen vom Fairfield auch dafür sorgen, das die umgebuchten Gäste die gleichen Annehmlichkeiten vom umgebuchten Hotel erhalten.
Als wir zum Frühstück wollten, wurden alle umgebuchten Fairfield Gäste in einen separaten Raum geschickt.
Die Tische waren zum Teil nicht abgeräumt von den Vorgängern oder waren schmutzig.
Das Geschirr war alles aus Plastic.
Wir kamen uns vor wie auf einem billigen Campingplatz.
Der Herr im Frühstücksraum erwartete auch noch das die Gäste das Geschirr selber in einen grossen Plasticsack warfen…!
An die verantwortlichen vom Fairfield, schafft diese Machenschaften ab, es gehört sich nicht die Gäste so zu behandeln.
P.S. Das restliche Personal, Empfang etc war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend."

Train station close to hotel not yet working, had to take the bus to Finch West to catch the train to downtown Toronto which increased the commute by an additional 30mins"
