amerikanisches Heidelberg
Leider hatten wir nur 3 Tage zu Verfügung, was eindeutig zu wenig ist. Es gibt so viel zu sehen und zu unternehmen. Vor allem einen Ausflug nach Tybee Island sollte man nicht versäumen. Das ist mit den Auto nur 30 Minuten weg und sensationell. Im Oktober hatten wir jetzt noch das schönste Badewetter....

Empfehlenswert
Preis-/Leistung passt. Der (Gratis-)Trolleybus hält unmittelbar vor dem Hotel. Guter Startort für eine Stadtbesichtigung, am Rand des Historikdistrikt. Sehr ruhig.

Gutes Hotel, sehr freundliches Personal
Das Hotel liegt etwa 10 Minuten vom Riverwalk, direkt neben dem Tourist information Center. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, von 5-7 gibts gratis Wein, Salat u Käse. Das Zimmer hat etwas gestunken, nach Rauch oder so, ansonsten war es riesig und sauber.

Stätereise
Wir hatten das Hotel für zwei Nächte als Städtereisende gebucht. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und hervorragend eingerichtet. Wir hatten die Küche gut nutzen können und die Spülmaschine hat den Rest erledigt. Auch konnte man im gemütlichen Innenhof am Gas Grill BBQ genießen. Die Wege zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Frühstück war typisch amerikanisch. Aber muss denn alles nur in und mit Plastik sein! Wir können das Hotel nur empfehlen.

The Hotel was great, nice staff at check-in, the room was spacious and well equipped, the bed was very comfortable, great fridge and kitchen equippment, nice pool area. Only minus point was the breakfast staff, the lady was shouting so loud that really everybody was awake in seconds, but that was not too bad.

Sehr modernes Hotel, hatten ein 1 bedroom apartment mit kleiner, vollwertiger Küche, Zimmer sauber, gutes Frühstück, abends von 5 bis 7 h kostenlos Softdinks, Bier + Wein sowie Snacks, schöne Architektur, netter Pool, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Am Rande des Zentrums gelegen, zu Fuß aber alles wichtige gut erreichbar, Visitorinfo ca 100 m entfernt. Möglichkeit, auf der Straße kostenlos zu parken, Nachbarschaft OK, machte recht sicheren Eindruck. in jedem Fall zu empfehlen.

The hotel was clean and newer. The beds were very comfortable. My only complaint was the hours for breakfast. It is a tourist town on the east coast so 9am was a little early. But what made it worse, was they started breaking it down at 8:45.

beware of their advertised pricing. once i arrived they advised i had to pay an additional $30 plus tips to park there. that in additional to admin fees and horrendous taxes, $27, makes this a very expensive place to stay and not in the greatest of areas. i wont come back

Very nice stay, clean and convenient. Daily breakfast was the usual array of breakfast items. Pool area was nice, and we were able to get street parking! Would stay again.

Enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I thought the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had a problem with the dishwasher and it was taken care of in a timely matter. This may be a thing of the past now, but would have liked to have a pen, paper and a clock in the room. This is not a complaint, but just a recommendation. Enjoyed the pool, the fire pit, the outdoor seating along with their breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a Savannah stay.

The rooms were comfortable and the location good, though it was a little tricky to cross the street in front. Breakfast included a good array of hot food, but selections ran out early and were not replaced quickly, if at all. The front desk and valet were friendly, available, and helpful.

We stay in the Green Cottage suite which was very nice a freshly renovated. The location was perfect for getting around downtown. The trolley buses are only a block away. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The valet service is worth the money as there is limited parking in this area.

The staff at this facility were very professional with all the guests, not just me. They wer egenuinely interested in making this a memorable experience. Understanding that teh Marriott Residences are the lower-end of the Marriott rpoperties, nevertheless, the management can exert a little more effort to gain alot. Specifically in the condition of the rooms: Table lamps and appliances that are not assembled carefully, and make the room look unnecessarily cheap. This facility can be a jewel and its staff re already its best ambassadors. A little better vigilance on the maintenance side will do wonders. I will come back.

Nice surprise in Savannah
Very friendly and capable staff. We were consistently greeted with smiles by staff members. Our room was very clean. Although there was a tear and worn area in the carpet by the kitchen. This needs repaired as it should not have been let go. The bed was very comfortable. We found the hotel location very convenient for our morning walks and the on street parking was very safe and convenient. This is a very pretty hotel and I encourage everyone to experience a weekend at this location.

Two issues: Originally told by clerk at desk that Expedia put us in a walk up accommodation. We had to explain that we needed an elevator because both of us are handicapped. After a few minutes she moved us to a room elevator access.Secondly, the door to room 222 would not open to exit the room. We struggled with it and finally opened.

The hotel is in a great location. The room was a bit dated particilarly the bathroom. The pool area is nice and the staff is friendly.
