1885 Upscale Vintage Parlor Loft: Heart of Historic SAV

@Theparlorloft, nestled in the heart of the historic district, is the perfect place for your next Savannah stay. This open loft embodies a whimsical bohemian vibe; it’s above what used to be a fabric parlor.

The building itself is historic, being built in 1885 by Matthew Lufburrow and later inhabited by Dr. Benjamin S. Purse, the Surgeon General of the Confederacy.


Stairs and a locked door for privacy separates the loft. The loft is only accessible via a curved set of stairs so it is not handicap accessible. You will have access through a shared back entrance.

There is ONE paid parking spot available, please inquire about reserving it. Cars that haven't paid the parking fee will be towed. The Liberty Parking Garage is 0.2 miles away as well, and there is ample street parking nearby for additional vehicles.

Check-in/out is all digital! Your stay will be completely private. Unless you need something, of course, please be aware of our check-in and check-out times.

@TheParlorLoft has a brand new king Sealy Posturepedic Hybrid mattress, a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo, washer and dryer are available to you. The loft also has a full kitchen with dishes and cookware included. There is a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, sink, water purifier, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, and stove. We’re excited to offer you very fast business-grade wifi. The loft is equipped with a mini-split for heat & AC with a remote. The loft does have an armoire and a cubby shelf with baskets, and two hanging spaces in the laundry nook providing ample storage.

Be mindful of some rules unique to Savannah:
Open container/to-go cups are only allowed from MLK to Broad Streets, north of Park Ave. Authorities will not tolerate public intoxication.

Savannah is a bike-friendly town, but know that bikes are not allowed in squares or sidewalks and must obey all the same traffic devices as a vehicle.
