The property was quaint and charming. It was a great location to the historic downtown but what really makes this property unique is the host Sarah. She was available, responsive, personable and made the best scones ever. We will definitely be back.

very quaint and quiet location on side street. Can park your vehicle entire weekend, and walk everywhere. Would be nice to have a microwave in room for popcorn or heating up your coffee. Excellent water pressure in shower! very spa like. Would come again. Very nice property owners.

Fantastic! Wonderful room, fantastic breakfast. Will stay here anytime we are in Saugatuck. I passed up a scone on our 1st morning. Big mistake. Sarah’s scones are delicious!

Excellent!
My family and I loved our stay at the Luckystone Inn! The property is extremely charming and set back on a quiet street yet you are super close to downtown Saugatuk. We had the Old Harbor suite which has its own private porch with a porch swing which we loved to hang out on. The room was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. My kids always complain when they have to sleep on a pullout couch but they loved their bed here and said it felt like a "real bed". Breakfast was amazing - homecooked by Sarah both days, and we all went back for seconds and even thirds. Sarah is warm and welcoming and friendly and clearly wants to ensure you have the best possible stay while there. We'll be back!

Everything you are looking for in Saugatuck.
Owner was super friendly and attentive. Gave great recommendations regarding local food and entertainment. Communicated effectively over phone, text and chat. We loved the location as it was walking distance from everything and fit our young family of 4. The rooms were nice and clean. The breakfast was homemade and from scratch. We will definitely visit again.

Perfect in Every Way
I cannot say enough amazing things about our stay at the Luckystone Inn. The Location can't be beat and every room is so charming. You are steps away from downtown restaurants, shops and the promenade. The Inn keeper makes breakfast every morning for the guests with allergy accommodating items and the most delicious food using local fruit and ingredients. Our room was perfect for a family of 4 (each room has a separate bedroom.) This is such a cozy, charming place and would be perfect in summer, fall, winter or spring. We can't wait to go back.

Host Sarah was wonderful. Her breakfasts were delicious! Our upstairs room was spacious and very comfortable. The Luckystone is conveniently located within easy walking distance to all of the great shopping and dining Saugatuck offers. I would very highly recommend The Luckystone Inn.

The Luckystone Inn is a fantastic option when visiting Saugatauk. Sarah is a wonderful host that cares about her guests and really made our stay memorable. The four bedroom Inn provided excellent access to all the shopping, dining, and recretion facilitys. The owner was a pleasure to work with and extremely accommodating and friendly. Because the inn is old, it has excellent charm and is well accommidated. Parking was great. But, having the window installed airconditioning system was a bit of a nuisance to use in our room; however, I am not sure what other options exist. Usualy the weather is cool enough to not requiring A/C

Great Place to Stay
We had a wonderful time staying here. The location is perfect... walkable to the adorable town & within 10 minute drive of many other activities. It poured rain one day and Sarah had great suggestions for things to do. Sarah is very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. I will definitely stay here again the next time we go to Michigan.

Well, for starters, Sarah was the most welcoming of hostesses, particularly for African Americans who never know how they will be received! From there, we loved the location, kinda off the beaten path, and the convenience to shops and restaurants within walking distance. The breakfasts were yummy and the thoughtfulness that went into the rooms, i.e bottles of water, the wine, cable, etc. was much appreciated. If I had to say one thing, and this is just me, a small lamp in the outer room of the Singapore, just to really nail the coziness, would have been nice, but it's not a biggie! That said, hubby and I agreed that we would definitely come back as well as recommend Lucky Stone to all our friends! Have a great and prosperous summer!

Luckystone Inn was fantastic! A lovely place to rest and rejuvenate for a few days. Excellent location right in the heart of Saugatuck harbor with easy walking ability to restaurants and shops. Sarah is a lovely and very friendly hostess. Door code lock system with private entry makes it a very easy and flexible stay. She even provides breakfast including some fantastic muffins. Competitively priced compared to the other options in the area without sacrificing any of the quality. Would absolutely stay here again if I come back to the area!

Home away from home!
When Sarah found out we were celebrating my daughter's 45th birthday, she upgraded our room to a first-floor with sitting area (and direct porch access.) She was so solicitous about our comfort: abundant coffee, yogurt, juice, muffins, pillows, towels, bottled water, and even a bottle of wine! The king-sized bed was really comfortable. Bonus: location! Even at 70+ years, I was easily able to walk everywhere.

Sarah, the host, was so sweet! She gave us a very warm welcome and made things so easy. The room was beautiful and very spacious. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, I haven’t slept that well in forever. The only thing I would note is that the breakfast provided was a bit lacking. Either way, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if we’re ever in town!

Fabulous Inn in a perfect location
The Luckystone Inn is a fabulous four suite inn in downtown Saugutuck close to all the restaurants/nightlife, shopping, and the waterfront. Tucked just off the main street it is quiet but close to everything. While the Inn was at full occupancy we also never heard noise from the other guests. The yummy breakfast fueled us well to start our days. Sarah, the owner, was on site every morning tending to breakfast but also making recommendations, answering questions and chatting. Our stay at the Luckystone Inn was comfortable and easy-going.

Charm and Comfort
Our hostess was delightful, so accommodating and such a good cook! What a treat to have homemade breakfast and Michigan blueberries every morning. The inn was charming, cozy, and convenient to everything Saugatuck. We couldn't have asked for a better location. Hint - If you have difficulty navigating steep stairs, you'll want to request one of the 3 first floor units. Our hostess was super helpful with our luggage, etc., but the stairs were tough for a bad knee. Regardless, if we return to Saugatuck, we would stay again at Luckystone Inn in a heartbeat!

This is a charming little bed and breakfast. While the rooms are not overly large ( the bathroom was tiny) it is very nicely decorated, very comfortable, and within an easy walk in everything in town. The outside porch swing was a nice touch ( a touch of paint is in order, but its a lovely place to spend time with a nice book.

Our goal was to create a serene, comfortable, clean space for our guests to rest after a fun day on the beach or downtown Saugatuck. A book on the porch swing, listening to the fountain sounds like a great way to spend the afternoon.
