The bathtubs could use some paint or new tubs but other than that. The staff was great. Very helpful. The bathtubs looked bad and I spoke with the gentleman at the front desk. He gave me cleaner and a mop to clean the bathtub. Breakfast was good. A lovely assortment of eggs, sausage and bagels. There was also yogurt and oatmeal. The pool was nice. Dont forget to bring your room key to get into the pool.

Check-in staff was not very friendly and our bathroom only had a standup handicap shower with a seat in it, and there was holes in the wall. As clean as expected either.

I enjoyed the pool and hot tub although the jets in the hot tub could have been more powerful. The breakfast was also very good with lots of choices. The fridge in our room was loud and made strange noises all night which sometimes awoke me from my sleep.

We were in town for a wedding and had no issues while staying here. The place was close to the highway (but not so close that there was traffic noise!), so it was easy to get where we needed to be. Plenty of dining options in the local area. Our room faced a wooded area, so it felt like we were on a vacation from the "urban jungle," lol. All staff we interacted with were helpful, friendly, and professional. The breakfast was decent. Would stay here again!

Our last disappointing stay...
We have stayed at this hotel for more than 10 years, 8-12 times per year. It was always our favorite! The hotel has been steadily going downhill over the past 2-3 years. The rooms are shabby, and need updating. The end door lock was broken, so we could not get in that way from our car. The breakfasts have been terrible. Last time we stayed we went to breakfast at around 8:15. There were no eggs, no milk, no yogurt, (scrambled or boiled), no bread, no cream cheese, to name a few items they were out of. The sausages were COLD. When I went to the front desk to ask about these items, they told me they ran out and someone was going to the store to get more. (Same excuse they gave me the last time we stayed.) We checked out about an hour later, and there was still no food!! We will no longer be staying at this establishment.

Would not recommend
We booked a block of rooms for two of our teams so we could be together. The price was descent but once we got there one thing after another happened. We had to change rooms because the sheets hs not been changed and blood stains on the blanket. The desk had many sticky spots so we knew it had not been cleaned at all. Dusty and dirty room. The new room had an air conditioner that sounded like it was going to blow up and the dust and toe nails laying along the edge of the walls was disgusting. Breakfast was not great and lady running it Sunday was crabby!!!! One of our families got kicked out of their room when they had proof they were there for two nights! Hotel people took all their stuff out of the room and some of it is still missing. They had to go find another hotel. Other things happened too. Just not the greatest place! Right when you walk in front doors, look up by the brick wall. You will see cob webs that have been there for 10 years at least! Insane!!

I took a shower shortly after checking in & the water pressure I thought was low. I hurried the shower because I noticed that the draining of the water was slow. By the end of my shower I was standing in ankle deep water.

Our Stay was TOO short
Our only problem with our stay was that we couldn't stay long enough to relax. We checked in around 5:00 p.m. And had to leave by 3:20 AM. The staff members we met were courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. The room was clean and comfortable. AND, yes I would recommend this AmericInn in Sartell, MN.

The hot tub was broken in September, and had yet gotten repaired in end of December. Quality of soaps, linens towels are great! Highly plush towels in rooms! Dove products for shampoos, soaps, great coffee and breakfast!

Enjoyed the wild turkeys (6) in hotel area. Pool was good for a swim and hot tub was good. Staff at counter were helpful and friendly. Traffic in area was terrible as one freeway was down for repairs. Room could have been cleaner in corners etc.

Staff was great! Our bathroom sink was clogged and they fixed that right away. The room was too small for 3 people and not enough seating for 3. The fridge was constantly running and noisy so we had to shut it off. Up keep of continental breakfast area and food choices were not so good or plentiful

I went into the room I reserved. I wasn't happy with the room. I told the front desk and she moved me to another room. I was pleased with the room she moved me to. Pleased that she listened to me and let us move to a better room.

The furniture was old and stained, there was what appeared to be dandruff on the couch, strange white stains all over the carpets, dead bugs on the windowsill and this was in the best suite in the hotel.
