Paradise in Coco Sunset Hills
We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Ilya's condo in Coco Sunset Hills! Ilya made us feel right at home! He was always available for questions, not only about the condo but EVERYTHING we wanted to see and do and all the things we might have needed during our 9 night stay! He sent a huge list of excursions, must see beaches, restaurants, grocery stores, ATM location, etc ahead of our trip. We felt like we not only had a great place to stay but someone who cared about our whole experience in Costa Rica! The condo was well stocked with dishes, reusable grocery bags, bug spray (which we did not need), sunscreen, toiletries, extra bedding, and towels (beach/pool and bath). We felt right at home cooking many meals in the well stocked kitchen! The beds are firm but comfortable. The AC worked great! We loved having outdoor spaces to drink coffee in the am and watch the stars at night! Having a washer and dryer was so nice! Although we never needed the dryer since our stay was during dry season! To our surprise there was very little humidity and things dried outside in a few hours! The pools were great- there was always one if you were looking to have one to yourself or make new friends. Ilya's condo included beach chairs and pool noodles, which we used everyday! In addition, it was a quick 3 minute walk to the beach! If you are looking for a clean, well cared for home for your vacation in Coco- look no further! You will not be disappointed!

Ilya is the best host ever! He can help with everything but is respectful and Allie’s you to enjoy his beautiful apartment. The place has everything you would want and the views are spectacular! The most wonderful hosts ever
We loved our stay in coco beach. We had a couple issues not related to our stay in the condo that required us to visit the OIJ in Liberia. The hosts of the condo were so sweet and accommodating and offered to accompany us to Liberia to provide translation for since we’re not fluent in Spanish. They gave great advice and were so helpful and supportive. On top of that, the condo was a beautiful place to stay with amazing ocean views in 2 levels. Definitely stay at this place!!!!!!!!! The views can’t be beat. The hosts represent the best of Costa Rica, and the location is perfect for experiencing all the beauty of Playas del Coco. You will be right in the center of everything and have everything provided for you in your condo while having gated 24hour security to keep you safe. We ended up buying our own place in Costa Rica and this condo is everything any person would want/need for their visit. The pools especially make it worth the the stay. Ignore all other listings. Book this condo today!!!!

Comfortable Stay
The condo was close to the beach and could be walked quite easily. It is located on the north side of Coco where the Pacifico Beach Club, Mar Azul Restaurant, and Java Coffee are located. All highly recommended. The host was very attentive and responded to a couple of issues very quickly. There are many pools which added to the experience.

Great host! Just make sure you have google maps for navigation, that was the hardest! Other than that very accurate to pictures, clean, great host, clean pools, kitchen equipped, air conditioner, internet was inconsistent but I think that’s Costa Rica in general

Beautiful views and close to everything
This is a clean and safe location with stunning views. The beds were very comfortable and ac worked great. We even had a washer and dryer in our unit and a full stocked kitchen. Next time we will stay longer. They made check in and check out so easy. We loved it

As previous reviewers have noted, Ilya is a fantastic host! He was extremely helpful before our arrival and during our stay. He went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed but was never intrusive at all. The condo is very comfortable and has one of the best views in the entire complex! The place was spotless when we arrived, and Ilya took the time to show us around and point out where to find things (pools, garbage disposal, etc.). The only two things we really wished we had were a propane barbecue at our unit (but there is a charcoal grill that is shared) and room darkening curtains in the bedrooms. Neither of those things kept us from enjoying the place though. Everyone we met on site, whether residents or vacationers, was extremely friendly. As for the area, we liked the quiet neighbourhood and we were still able to walk to the beach in about 10 minutes, and to the grocery stores and restaurants in about 20 minutes. Coco Beach is very big and had large waves during the almost three weeks that we were there - we had fun playing in the waves and boogie boarding. It's not good for snorkeling but we took a taxi to nearby Ocotal Beach a couple of times and were able to snorkel there. Of course you can easily book a guided snorkel tour if you want to, and there are many other options for excursions too. If you're considering staying in this area you can't go wrong with this unit, and with Ilya as host.

Beautiful Views
Property grounds and location were absolutely stunning. We loved the view from the room! The apartment was extremely clean, and Ilya was a fantastic host, very attentive. Minor negatives: The wood throughout the apartment had a strange greasy slick to it, most likely from whatever cleaning product or wood preservative used. The towels and sheets were heavily dosed with fabric softener when washed, so they had an almost sticky texture. However, some people love fabric softener, so, to each their own. There was construction going on our entire stay, however the grounds and host were so kind and offered a future discounted stay due to the disturbance. Positives: we had a very sweet cat come visit us everyday. Sunrises and sunsets were to die for. Safe and beautiful grounds. Just close enough to town, yet still perfectly far away to enjoy the peace. WOULD RECOMMEND!!!

Wonderful guests! The apartment was left very tidy. Thank you for staying and hope to see you again. I would definitely recommend them! We always ask our guests to inform us immediately of ANY inconveniences during their stay. Our staff work around the clock and are ready to fix the problem at any time. In addition, we have several apartments in one complex, and there is an opportunity to find an alternative. Our apartments are equipped with natural wood furniture to protect it we use special products based on natural ingredients with an antibacterial effect, which is especially important during the rainy season. The water in our complex is very clean and drinkable, but the water hardness is slightly higher than average, and we use special softeners when washing. Usually our guests evaluate these options only positively. The cleaning process is under our close control. We purchase what is available locally and make sure that our products meet all the requirements and quality standards of Costa Rica to ensure the best quality. All the best and welcome any time! Good but could have been better
1) troublesome water pressure and temperature. Shower pressure was inconsistent and worse than that the temperature would change every 60 seconds. Going from extremely hot to just cool. And there was NO cold water from the shower. Just warm and lukewarm. 2) significant construction downstairs annoying jackhammers going right below our unit through out the entire stay. From around 8am-5pm. This was okay as most of our time was spend out and about but it did seem as though the condo wasnt welcoming to us actually staying in it for the day. Effectively pushing us to go out all day. HOWEVER Ilya our property manager. Was wonderful. Our check in and out process was seemless and wonderful. Great AC and view. I’d give this and EASY 5+ stars if the shower wasnt atrocious and the construction right below us just BELLOWING concrete dust out our patio all day long.

Condo was well maintained. The communication with the property owner was exemplary. Hot shower, internet was average for PDC CR, about 19 mbs. The grounds were well maintained with a great view. The only negative was the beds were uncomfortable. The master bedroom bed was like laying on a box spring. Great value, please invest in new beds, they were that bad.

Beautiful views! Spacious condo
This was our first time traveling to Costa Rica. Llya was very prompt and quick to answer our questions about the area and Costa Rica. He was very helpful! The condo was so much nicer than the photos! The oceans views from both the main entrance blacony and the upstairs balcony were beautiful! His condo was clean and spacious! We were traveling with our 2 little boys so it was nice to have all the space! The complex was very safe! I would highly recommend staying here! We really enjoyed the grounds of the complex and all the pools as well
