Wunderschön gelegen, super Service, nicht nur Banana-Beach, Schildkröten, Natur, ist allgemein das Geld wert. Unser Tipp: All inklusive: Fast alle Touren sind dann dabei, dazu Bier, Essen am Banana Beach, Lunchpakete, Cocktails etc

Preis - Leistung stimmt leider im ganzen Land nicht. Ausser Portugiesisch wird leider nur etwas Französisch und Englisch verstanden und kaum gesprochen.

Ouder hotel, maar goed onderhouden. Zeer mooie tuin en zwembad. Ligging zeer goed. 1 minpunt voor reizen in Sao Tome en Principe is : geen Mastercard, debet if credit cards accepted. Visa debet max 60€ in pinautomaat voor sommige banken only. In meeste hotels kan men niet met cards betalen !!! Cash meenemen. Euro is eel overl betaalmiddel of lokale Dobra munt.

Just a few dollars more !
This hotel has seen its day; for a few dollars more per night you will get much better service and quality at the sister hotel just along the road 5 minutes walk and right on the beach. I was glad to see the back of it, after leaving I realized that they still charged me for the airport collection where I was waiting for nearly 1 hour. There was no service at the pool area even though there must have been 12-15 guest sitting around, inside there were plenty of staff doing very little. The rooms were well used, I changed room once but gave up after that. The food/drink prices about 4 times compared to the cafe just near the hotel entrance so no wonder there was no business inside the hotel. Bed was comfortable and the AC worked.

ok
ok, não posso afirmar que as instalaçoes sejam as melhores, pelo que se paga era esperada um pouco mais... a piscina nao estava em funcionamento e ninguem se preocupou em informar demos com isso quando nos preparavamos para ir para lá... o pequeno almoço também fica á quem e o staff que o servia também não estava preocupado em repor o que acabava.

Nous avons été satisfait de l'hôtel. Le personnel est très serviable et aimable. Le jardin et la piscine sont les atouts de cet hôtel. La nourriture est quant à elle moyenne

More a residential than a hotel
I have stayed in this hotel for some few days. The hotel was designed by an architect from former yugoslavia and lacks of everything. Although the staff is friendly, it is not a 4 star hotel. Everything seems very old fashion. The sound insulation is poor. The air conditioning is installed in a position that the air flow will go directly to the bed. The doors are old and lock is terrible. The breakfast lacks of taste. There some local fruit, but preparation and presentation is not good. Room Tip: I think there are not good rooms :) :) wifi worked well most of the time. Prices are high.

Not 4 stars by any standard
The hotel was merely average at best. My air conditioning didn't work. they tried to fix it but couldn't during my 2 nights there. Soa Tome is hot and very humid so this was a major drawback. Also, the rooms don't have Wi-Fi which is very inconvenient. You need to go to the lobby to connect. The breakfast buffet was average as well. The view from the room was very good. The staff tried very hard and were all very nice.

Gerson at the reception is very good and helpful.
Great team at this hotel. Gerson at the reception is very professional and helpful. Very good work overall, my partner and I had an amazing 11 day holiday here.

The condition of the hotel was pretty decent - rooms were clean and neat, as well as the restaurant. Staff were polite but not necessarily friendly. My problem was the price. There are many other smaller hotels and guest houses for much less , and if you tried to arrange any sort of outing with the hotel they charge almost twice the actual cost. The money doesn't exactly go to the community and is probably going back to Europe. There are no nearby beaches either, and you need to take a taxi to get to a beach. I recommend booking with a smaller hotel, or staying here one night and then finding another hotel that isn't advertised online, as most are not. Also the orbitz booking didn't show up on their computer which caused a problem at checkin. The staff coped with it, but something is definitely wrong with the way that orbitz expects things to work.

Nice hotel, but in need of some updates.
Miramar is a quiet, family-friendly hotel. It was recently acquired by the Pestana group, and when compared to the nearby Pestana Sao Tome, one will notice the differences. That said, we did enjoy our stay and would return again in the future. What works: - A/C in the rooms - The pool - The restaurant's brick-oven (the pizzas were amazing) What doesn't: - The staff's understanding of English (it was harder to communicate here than at the other property) - The restaurant's menu: it's small and doesn't allow for substitutions. My kids would have enjoyed some fried plantains or chips (french fries), both of which come as sides, but weren't available separately from their respective entrees. - Wait staff training. While very friendly and accommodating, one at least to occasion we received the wrong food.

J'aurais préféré le Miramar
Deux séjours à Sao Tomé, à quelques jours d'intervalle : le premier au Miramar, le second, "surclassée" au Pestana Sao Tomé, car le Miramar était complet. C'est sûr, le Pestana Sao Tomé est d'une catégorie supérieure, chambres plus grandes, équipement plus complet, ambiance luxueuse. Mais j'ai regretté le Miramar, dont j'aime l'ambiance familale et qui est bien mieux situé : au Sao Tomé, rien n'est vraiment accessible à pied...

Un personnel particulièrement aimable et serviable
Deux semaines, pour le travail, plus quelques jours de repos. La chambre est grande, donne sur la piscine, l'équipement complet ou presque : ne manque que le coffre-fort individuel. L'hôtel est assez bien situé, face à la mer et assez proche du centre. Et surtout, le personnel a réponse à toutes les questions, ou presque, et essaie vraiment d'aider les clients.

HOTEL..... Needs refurb asap
Filled in form at hotel........ Basically hotel in desperate need of refurbishment....Not up to 4 star rating by a long way. refurb or reclassify! SAO TOME..... Getting independence has maybe lined a few peoples pockets!...its not helped the native population. ..... The Islands needs a government to reorganise all vital services to keep up with other third world countries I've badly damaged my knee whilst on holiday....and have to go to hospital now I'm back regards Edmund Jackson
