âWe stayed for a night at Velasco. While the building and the hall is beautiful, and our stay was fine altogether, there were some areas of improvement. For instance, the walls had patches of paint wearing off. The shower did not get hot. Also, the room was internal and was not isolated from the patio where some loud guests were constantly making phone calls.â

Gated parking area, 24 hour security guards, a beautiful cooked to order breakfast, and every person that we encountered on the staff was professional, kind, and welcoming. We absolutely recommend this place to anyone that wants to stay in La Paz. Just far enough from the waterfront walk to miss the hustle and bustle, but just close enough to access with a very short driv, or a robust walk. (1.7 km) â

âEverything was great! Only thing was that when I got into the small pools they have at the rooftop some of the paint was coming off and it would stay on your skin unless rubbed off.
