THE SPACE
Coastal boutique 2 Bedroom/2 Bathroom condo. Tropical whimsy greets you when you walk through the door. This palm tree hideaway has a spacious living area with large flat screen Smart TV and oversized sectional. A fully equipped kitchen combines the hues of the sand and sea, encased in beaded wood planks like a charming beach shack. The dining area welcomes all guests with seating at the table and bar top. A serene and dreamy master suite features a king size bed, ensuite private bathroom with separate shower and soaking tub. The guest bedroom and bathroom are their own playful sea-escape. The screened lanai lets in the sea air while you lounge in the outdoor living space.

THE PROPERTY
Loggerhead Cay is a well-maintained beachfront complex located on the easily accessible east end of the island, just minutes from the Causeway. The property features one of the largest heated swimming pools on the island, tennis and pickleball courts, shuffleboard, private beach access and BBQ grills all available for you to enjoy. Elevator access is available.

THE ISLAND
Located about 25 miles from Fort Myers airport, Florida's Sanibel Island feels secluded, with a beautiful coastline. It's an excellent spot for shell collectors too, named one of the top shelling destinations in the world. If you are looking to break away from the beach, Sanibel's natural surroundings are full of potential outdoor adventures. Bike paths are plentiful on the island making it easy to explore and get around. You will fall in love with Sanibel Island!

THE EXTRAS
High Speed Wifi included. Three Smart TV's for all of your streaming favorites. A full size washer and dryer are also in-unit. Quality linens provided. Everything you need for a day at the beach: beach chairs and umbrellas, sand toys, beach towels and wagon.

FAMILY FRIENDLY
Suited for family travelers who like convenience, the condo is stocked with a crib, portable high chair, child-friendly plates and cups. Your little one will be cozy in the mini crib outfitted with organic sheets. No need to haul your pack n play!

GUEST REQUIREMENTS
Guests must meet minimum age requirement of 28 in order to book this property. Guests must be clean and respectful of property and its rules, including those of Loggerhead Cay Condo Association. We strive to keep our unit in top notch condition and expect our guests to do the same. A signed rental agreement is required prior to reservation confirmation.

THE FINE DETAILS
7 night minimum stay // Saturday to Saturday Check-In/Check-Out.
Minimum stay is required by local Sanibel laws. Sorry, no exceptions.
Reservations can be made 12 months in advance.

Occupancy cannot exceed 6 people // Max 4 adults

Loggerhead Cay and Sanibel Island are recovering from Hurricane Ian. We welcome guests, but please understand there is still work to be done.

A SIGNED RENTAL AGREEMENT IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO RESERVATION REQUEST CONFIRMATION.

Destination Loggerhead

We love Loggerhead; it's a beautiful property. Just a few suggestions – BUY A COFFEE POT! We had coffee, but no K-cups. Went and bought the reusable ones; they didn't work. Drove back to Walmart and bought one for 15. Need a larger table/shelf in the kitchen for groceries; and benches in bedrooms for luggage; hooks and/or pegs to hang towels to dry. The jute rugs are rough on bare feet; and the sectional was very low and difficult for us 60-somethings to get up out of. Wallpaper throughout was so lovely. The lanai was my favorite spot.

Beautifully decorated and comfortable unit

My partner and I found this condo in Loggerhead Cay to be true to its photos - beautifully decorated, giving its living spaces a very warm, comfortable atmosphere. I loved its cozy-feeling wallpaper, and the mural in the entranceway was welcoming and gorgeous with its tropical plants and vibrant colors. The kitchen was very well-stocked and spacious, and the lanai had very comfortable furniture, which is where we spent mornings and had lunch often. I loved the fact that the unit is close to the elevator, making our stay there very do-able, considering that we both are not spring chickens! This condo was also immaculately clean. The landscaping is being worked on in spots, and our view from the lanai was green with new planting and palm trees, and we had a slight view of the ocean and pool. The beach was easily accessible and also beautiful with sand bars - we spent most of our late afternoons there - also the unit's beach chairs, wagon and umbrellas are located in a storage facility not far from the condo. We hope that we can spend a week there next year!

Great Spot

We had a great time staying in the unit over the week of Thanksgiving. The unit has new updates, was clean and perfect for a relaxing week. Hosts did a great job communicating. Unit is in the back half of the condo complex closer to the tennis and pickleball area, but still an easy walk to the pool or the beach.

Return to Sanibel

We have been coming to Sanibel for many years and so like many, we were shocked and saddened to see the damage Hurricane Ian caused in fall 2022. This was our first trip back and I must say, Mike & Tara were incredible hosts and their condo was amazing! It is not only beautifully appointed, it was spotlessly clean and the kitchen had everything we needed for meals, drinks, etc. As we look to make our plans to come back to Sanibel in the future, this is the first place we will look to rebook. Palm Lodge January 2024

The condo was wonderful - almost all the interior furnishings were brand new - I think we were only the second people to stay here since they reopened. Everything worked as it should, great high-speed internet. It was just a short walk to the beach across the property, maybe 2-3 minutes. As the owners state in the description, the property itself is a work in progress. There was a good deal of construction going on at the overall property and in individual units, so it could be a bit noisy during the day, but everything went quite around dinner time until the next day. The majority of the people on the island during the day were construction workers, so the beaches, shops and restaurants were nearly empty. Because of construction workers coming and going the traffic was very bad getting onto the island in the morning and getting off in the evening, but we learned the side streets to get around the island and avoid the main drag where most of the traffic backed up. Everyone on the island was very nice, and appreciative of getting business. Sad and amazing that there is so much rebuilding still to be done a year and a half after the hurricane, but it just about wiped out the island. We heard only 13% of the occupancy on the island was available during our visit.
