Michelle and her family were wonderful guests and politely informed us of the issues they encountered. The same day that Michelle checked out, we had a top pest control company do a thorough fumigation of the interior and exterior of the property. We also did a deep cleaning of the house. We personally inspected the property when they finished the deep cleaning and can attest to the fact that the house is thorougly clean and the insects are gone. By way of explanation, not as an excuse, we should point to the fact that Michelle stayed in the house the week after the first heavy rains of the season and this always brings in insects. Please note that this is the first time in more than three years that we do not get a five-star ranking from a guest. All of our prior guests during the past three years have given us 5-stars and written rave reviews on our property. Many have specifically commented on how clean they found the house. We take great pride in our 5-star ranking and will do everything within our power to correct any issue brought to our attention by a guest. It was truly a pleasure to host Andy and his family. They were courteous and left the house in excellent condition. I appreciate that Andy took the time to include suggestions on how to improve the property as part of his review. In response to his comments, I have installed a brand new heavy-duty dryer, scrubbed and pressure-washed the screens and outdoor cushions, and purchased new Tommy Bahamas comforter sets and linens for all beds. Had Andy brought his concerns to my attention during his stay, I would have addressed them forthwith. I give guests my cell phone number where they can reach me at all times. We have an experienced cleaning and maintenance team that is available seven days a week to service the needs of our guests. We are proud that all the guests who have stayed in the house during the past two years have given us a perfect 5-star rating. Many of them lauded the house's cleanliness in their reviews. Andy's input will encourage us to work even harder to improve our Sanibel house. Our goal is to continue to provide our guests with an exceptional vacation property and a most enjoyable stay.
