Summary:
This upgraded and spacious 2 BR / 2 BA cottage boasts over 750 sq ft of optimized island space and features a King bed in the master bedroom, a sleeper sofa in the living room, a full bathroom and a comprehensive kitchen as well as access to the attached lockout suite with a Queen bed, a full bath and a kitchenette. Walk or bike to enjoy swimming, shelling, dining and shopping. Complimentary adult bikes and beach equipment are provided to explore the 30 miles of bike paths running right by the cottage, or to enjoy a day at the beach full of fun under the sun.

The PalmView Inn offers charming fully equipped cottages within walking distance to Sanibel’s famous shelling beaches and the Gulf of Mexico. Caloosa Retreat is one of 6 cottages within the historic PalmView of Sanibel, each one beautifully appointed with a distinct theme. Caloosa Retreat combines the one bedroom Caloosa unit with the adjacent lockout suite, providing guests with a larger two bedroom experience.
We are pet friendly for up to two dogs up to 50lbs each. If you will be traveling with pets please notify us after confirming your booking so that we can update your reservation accordingly. Per pet fee of $75 will apply.

Guests enjoy free access to our Gigabit mesh internet service, bikes, beach gear, grill and cooking area as well as a communal laundry room. One parking space per unit.
The Neighborhood:
The cottage is situated on the desirable East End of Sanibel, which is equidistant to almost every sought after beach on Sanibel. You will be near restaurants, shopping, and activity, while still far enough removed to be reminded that you are on vacation. This location is also advantageous in that it provides quick on and off access to the causeway, as to allow guests a quick commute into and from Fort Myers without having to contest with seasonal traffic.
Getting Around:
We recommend bikes or a golf cart to get around.

Guests must complete rental agreement prior to their stay.
