Such a peaceful, rural experience just a short drive from Portland. Many free perks from the owners from shower scrubbies to fresh fruit to soda and water in the fridge. Many amenities like coffee and an ice maker, games, movies, and I loved the Star Trek memorabilia. Gym equipment in the garage along with use of the washer and dryer, foosball table, feed the birds or the trout in the pond. Just very relaxing. Only thing to watch out for is if you can't manage stairs very well as the entrance is up a short flight of them. Sandy is a great little town, great donut shop, pizza places, restaurants, and a nice park or two to walk around. Bigger parks like Barton and Milo McIver are just 20 minutes away. I would certainly stay there again, especially since you get so much more room, not only in the studio, but outside on the deck where you can also barbecue, than you would in a regular motel - and it costs a lot less than a motel room of equal amenities.
