The staff were so friendly and the lobby area of the hotel was really comfortable. The room was a good size and was clean-the only strange thing was the curtains in the bathroom were kind of see-through but maybe we were high enough up that it isn't an issue?? This was the only thing. Otherwise everything was great!

Es war alles in allem okay. Zimmer war blöd ausgerichtet. Fenster direkt an eine Wand wo ein Generator steht und die Fenster sehr alt und einfach nicht schön. Bett war super Bad war auch gut. Der Boden wirkt sehr alt. Service war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Für 1-2 Nächte okay aber mehr nicht. Lobby war super!

Die Lage der Unterkunft bietet sehr viele Möglichkeiten die Stadt zu Fuß zu erkunden. Das Mobiliar ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber noch vollkommen ausreichend für diese Art von Aufenthalt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Leider gibt es bei dem hohen Gebäude nur einen kleinen Aufzug, welcher bei unserem Aufenthalt zum Teil noch außer Betrieb war.

Ein sehr angenehmes Hotel, mit hübscher Außenfassade. Der Check-in verlief reibungslos und sehr schnell, das Zimmer war groß genug und mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt (Bad, TV, Safe). Die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter waren alle äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Putzkräfte konnten zwar meist kein/kaum Englisch (dennoch total freundlich), aber man konnte sich dennoch irgendwie verständigen. Einziges kleines Manko: es gibt nur einen Aufzug, der nicht sehr groß ist und auch nicht sonderlich schnell und zudem auch vom Personal genutzt werden muss. Hier kann es deswegen Mal etwas enger werden oder man muss ggf. was länger warten. Ansonsten ein tolles Hotel das ich nur weiterempfehlen kann.

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen, aber für 1-3 Nächte vollkommen ok. Die Lage ist Top! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend! Unser Fenster im Zimmer ließ sich nicht richtig öffnen und schließen und es dauerte ca. 10 Min. bis wir warmes Wasser im Zimmer hatten.

Super Lage, Freundlich, Sauber, alles Perfekt
Die Lage des Hotels direkt gegenüber der Hertz Mietwagenstation und nur einen Block von der Powell Street BART-Haltestelle ist perfekt. Auch die CableCar ist nur einen Steinwurf weit entfernt. Das Zimmer war sauber und gut in Schuß. Alles hat funktioniert. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Wer klassische, traditionelle SF-Hotels mag, der kann mit dem King George eigentlich nichts falsch machen. Wer jedoch eher moderne Hotels mit größeren Zimmern und Klimaanlage (in SF selten wirklich notwendig) bevorzugt, sollte sich lieber in Richtung der großen internationalen Ketten (Hilton, BW, Nikki, etc.) orientieren. Für mich bietet das King George dennoch das beste Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und den gewohnten SF-Charme, weshalb ich es immer wieder vorziehen würde. Zudem bieten Personal und Ambiente eine freundliche, hilfsbereite und familiäre Umgebung.

The night when I checked in the staff wasn't nice, they put me in the smelly room where the window wasn't opening and I asked twice and the guy said I heard it( not with polite manners) and moved me to another two single bedroom, bed wasn't comfortable it was small for me, I asked if they move me the king size bed which I booked and paid, they just made a note and didn't do action. They charged extra for breakfast but three times I came downstairs at 9:30 am and there was nothing left, and the timing was 8 to 10.

Very kind and helpful staff. I liked the vibe. Hower, the condition of the room was not comfortable: Broken ceiling fan, terrible water pressure (shower almost worthless), heat didn't work, and bedding the worst: either give people a proper duvet and duvet cover, or a topsheet and a blanket. But sandwiching a polyester thin blanket between two topsheets is not bedding. It's a mess to sleep in. May be more convenient for cleaning staff, but NOT for the customer.
