Tolles Hostel mit spannenden Persönlichkeiten. Man kommt sofort in Kontakt mit anderen und es wird einem jeden Abend ein abwechslungsreiches Programm geboten. Ich würde wieder dort hin fahren. 10/10

A real good place to stay. Breakfast included, always a free coffee, sometimes activities in the evening. Polite and friendly guests.

Für Paare nicht geeignet.
Gebuchtes Premiumzimmer viel zu klein und noch mit Dachschräge. Keine Abstellmöglichkeit - nur Bett und TV vorhanden. Man muss durch einen weiteren Schlaafsaal, um in sein Zimmer zu gelangen. Keine Klimaanlage - nur Ventilator. Angepriesenes Abendessen war ein Ministück Lasagne und dazu noch knapp eine Stunde verspätet serviert. Auskünfte über Parkmöglichkeiten mangelhaft. Parken nur über Nacht ohne Begrenzung und kostenfrei möglich. Vielleicht für eine Gruppe im Gruppenzimmer empfehlenswert.

Perfektes Hostel auf der Durchreise
Das Hostel gleicht vom Aufbau her sicherlich vielen anderen Hostels. Erwähnenswert ist jedoch die liebevolle Gestaltung der einzelnen Bereiche, wodurch man sich wirklich in jedem Bereich sehr wohl fühlt. Klasse sind die täglichen Programme des Hotels wodurch das miteinander der Bewohner gestärkt wird. Jeden Abend wird es bei einem Bier, Glas Wein etc. sehr gemütlich. Es wird wirklich niemand ausgegrenzt. Man versucht jeden einzubinden um das Gefühl einer Gemeinschaft herzustellen. Ich habe die Zeit sehr genossen und würde das Hostel bei einem erneuten Aufenthalt jederzeit wieder buchen.

The staff were wonderful and other residents were quiet and respectful of the space. The photos of this hostel are very misleading though. I chose this hostel due to how clean and updated it had seemed. Our stay was two nights, in the second night we went to use the communal showers and it felt like I was in a horror movie. I was expecting to use the clean and updated showers shown in their photos, instead my options were a shower stall with no light, a shower stall with no running water, or the upstairs stall that was full of spiders and caked in dark residue. We obviously were unable to shower during our trip, this is coming from someone who has stayed in hostels before and had access to these amenities with no problem. Our room claimed to have AC, there was an AC unit in our closet but our window did not open. There was a compact window near the bed that gave us ventilation but had no screen so we inevitably had bugs in our room our entire stay. I did not expect much considering this is a hostel but I had hoped it would have Atleast been clean and not misleading. I hate having to leave a negative review considering how kind and helpful the staff were, the advertising of this place vs. the reality of the state it is in is not their fault.

We are undergoing construction on the bathrooms at the White House. as for the showers there are timer lights that you could have turned on or asked the receptionist for help with. You did have access to both houses during your stay as well. As the signs say throughout the houses if you had any issues you were more than welcome to come to reception and bring them up so we could immediately fix them for you. ITH Adventure Management

When I got there I didn't realize that everyone was able to sleep together, and I was very upset with how they did not have to wear masked because of the covid 19, I had to check into another hotel. I feel that my health was compromised because of that. I asked for a refund and they refused to give it to me. I spent $68 on a coed hotel where everyone slept with everyone. I am asking how do I get my refund back?

Hey Daniel! Our receptionist greeted you wearing a mask. The room you booked was private with shared bathrooms, which is what you were offered when you arrived. We didn't charge your card and therefore no refund is needed. I'm not sure where the miscommunication occurred, but feel free to reach out to me directly if any of the above isn't correct.

It was very beautiful downstairs! The common room and kitchen was very nice and organized also super colorful. Went to the room and the AC was on but no air flow whatsoever. Another issue was that nobody in there had any mask on for covid and understanding that the staff had that chill vibe going on it would’ve been nice if hand sanitizer was accessible along with soap in the upstairs bathroom! The bathrooms are a completely different story! we went into the private bathroom and there was hair around the toilet underneath the seat. No toilet paper was in there also no hand soap so I can wash after. People are loud at night even though they are friendly. Earbuds are accessible. So the cons are that the room was very hot even when the ac was on due to the vents being covered in dust. The restrooms were minimal not kept in the best manners especially during covid. Cleanliness could’ve been kept better but it’s not too horrible due to it being a hostel. Pros was that besides the room and bathroom the common room and kitchen were very nice but a place to stay at for a night I wouldn’t personally do. I’d probably come during winter when I know AC would like a little help from the weather. Sometimes people seemed too “cool” to have a conversation with you but it’s no big deal to me.

House up a hill was generally comfortable, nicely decorated and clean. Bathroom was huge upstairs. The downstairs one had a bath too. Also other toilets downstairs. Kitchen was convenient and tv room cozy. Outside sitting area pleasant to enjoy the sunshine. Location convenient enough and not too busy. Good wifi during our stay. Great first impression from Ciro(?) hope its spelt right, from S. America and Earl(?), from USA, hope we got his name right too. He was always welcoming too and helpful. Saw him busy with other guests, cleaning and caring for the plants. On the negative. Unfortunately there were a couple of people who made us feel unwelcome and we weren't sure if they were guests, or staff, until later. Believe one was a house manager(light hair)and the other named Olivia(dark hair) from what was heard in passing. It was as though the house belonged to them and guests were annoyances to be ignored, tolerated or just be rude to. Very strange that they even work there. Did not see them working. Only hanging about at the house. The mixed room also did not smell great during our stay. But that would depend on the other guests there. There are stairs to climb going to the front door so its a little more of a work out. But noticed there's also an outside disabled type lift.

It's located close to everything important, they have a great fee for bike rental and that way you get to see most of SD. Great staff and everyone respects house rules. Would recommend and stay again.

Everyone was so nice, lots of laughter. 420 friendly was great. It was a bit loud in the evenings, bed sheets could have been larger and the tv connection was awful.

It was nice enough for a hostel but the problem was the noise. I was there two nights, the first night there was partying until 4:15am with loud music, yelling, and piano playing that kept both me and my bunk mate up all night. The second night was a little better but still had loud music until past midnight when my other bunk mate asked to leave.
