Place was nice but the parking/ yard was a not great. The trash cans block the drive up so only one car fits in the drive, the yard was not desirable. The house was exactly how they portrayed.

Several reviews said the yard was overgrown, but it was well kept for our stay. There’s lots of brush lining the yard, which made it very private. The house was immaculate. The only complaint we had was about storage in the bathroom/shower. We absolutely loved the location. So many great restaurants within walking distance. We took full advantage of that.

Quaint House, Great Owner

This is a quaint, old style home in a popular area of town. We happened to stay there during a heat wave which is very taxing on the air conditioning system when there's little to no insulation in the attic. Owner was great and had a service tech come out the evening we arrived. A few things to note: the yards are in horrible shape, over grown and high weeds with stickers (not abnormal for SA VRBOs for some reason). The house was clean except for the kitchen which had dirty stove & countertops (sticky). There are NO closets and the bathroom doesn't have shelving or countertops for your toiletries, etc. I have full faith that the owner will improve the issues with the home and will make it a great place to stay. For us, it was good enough for our needs and we were able to enjoy our graduation weekend in SA.

Great home in a perfect neighborhood for exploring

This home in the historic Tobin Hill location is perfectly located for exploring one of San Antonio's most bustling entertainment districts, the Saint Mary's strip. Tons of local-centric restaurants and bars within walking distance -- with live music venues close by. This is the neighborhood where San Antonians go for great drinks and food -- not the tourist-centric spots at the Pearl. House is well-furnished and decorated with personality. Do be aware that it shares a fence with a Post Office hub and if you're a light sleeper, you may want earplugs to drown out the pre-dawn noise of trucks loading up to head out on their routes.

This property perfectly met our needs, including the fenced in backyard for the dog. I made a low fuss holiday meal without any trouble. We were comfortable in the cottage and enjoyed being walking distance to entertainment.

Cute home central to everythinf

Our family of four stayed here for a long weekend and enjoyed our stay. The home was as described and the location great. I only issues we had were on check in with the old fashioned key holder and a couple of issues with the furniture. I emailed the management company and never heard back. The dining table top is not attached to the base and the glass coffee table was about to break- we only discovered this with our small children while trying to use a portable high chair on the table and with them using the coffee tables for toys. Other than this, and the occasional noisy car at 2 am, the house was great. I would just say it’s best for families or renters without small kiddos.

Excellent Charming Little House.

We absolutely loves this charming little house, it was clean and very comfy. Loved that it is in an established neighborhood and appears to be upcoming. Lots of local flavor with restaurants within walking distance. Wonderful breakfast at El Milagrito and if you want a burger, Tycoon Flats is has a burger for everyone and if you catch them, live music too. Down the road from both of these establishments plenty of other food and coffee choices. We also had a special treat as there was a community bike ride on St. Mary’s and that was super to see all the neighbors on bikes, trikes, bikes with babies, bikes with puppies. It was a local affair fun and festive. We were here for the eclipse so had several days prior to explore the city. Riverwalk and the Alamo of course along with off the beaten path neighborhoods and shops. Excellent BBQ wherever you go…we did not have a bad meal once. The property has everything that you need. If you cook, everything you need is there, if you don’t, take a walk to one of the local establishments. The house is clean, airy and was easy to get to. Owner checked in just before we did and let us know if we needed anything to reach out. Overall, wonderful stay, wonderful city, and would recommend.

Overall good, but could be better

Grass in front and back looked like it had not been cut in weeks, dogs were not happy with that and made it difficult for potty breaks. No where to place anything near bathroom sink or in shower. Night stand only on one side of bed, so had to put glasses, phone, water on floor beside bed. Remote to turn light and fan on in bedroom didn’t work.

Cute historic house

This little house was absolutely adorable. Within walking distance of a good brunch place, a short drive to the river walk, and many other attractions. The house was clean, well maintained, and was decorated very cute. You can tell the owners put love into maintaining this house.

Darling cottage, fabulous location.

This is such a cute cottage that is less than 2 miles from everything. Our favorite hangouts were Nola Brunch and Beignets, and The Pour House. Both just around the corner within walking distance. The kitchen had top of the line appliances and granite countertops. The bathroom was also updated with tile and new fixtures, including a huge rain shower head. Both queen mattresses were very high end memory foam.

House not as expected.

When looking for a place to stay, I came across this property & of course read the reviews. The reviews were mostly positive; especially the reviews that stated the place was clean and kept up. Unfortunately, that was not the case for my husband and I. We drove up and seen a front yard that had overgrown weeds everywhere. Once entering the house, we noticed clumps of what looked like dog hair on the floor (in multiple areas of the house). When I got to the back bedroom, I noticed hair all over the bed & pillows. Instead of exploring San Antonio, I had to strip the bed & put everything washing which resulted us in waiting around the house for over an hour. Not ideal. The kitchen sink looked like it wasn’t wiped down as well as the cob webs that were accumulating underneath the shelves in the bathroom. The only positive I will say, is that the location was great and close to everything we wanted to explore. Unfortunately, location wouldn’t be enough for me to stay here again.
