My favorite place
I love everything about this cabin, it's one of the most well appointed places I've ever stayed. I spend all my time thinking about and making reasons to go back. It's such a special spot. The beds are also delicious, excellent pillows, the kitchen is a treat, great wifi for working vacays, I love chatting with my neighbor who lives in the gorgeous house behind the cabin & her dog Ollie is the best little gentleman and cuddle biscuit. Lap pool is beautiful and the spa is to die for—at night especially. It's just a slice of art & heaven.

Epic river spot
This place is absolutely gorgeous, the craftsmanship of the place is next level and the property is amazing. We live nearby and rented it for an anniversary staycation. Prime river spot ! Views from the house and a very easy walk to the river which is an epic sandy beach with a wide, deep swimming area. You can also walk a bit upriver and float or paddle board back down easily. We saw bald eagles, osprey and great blue herons multiple times as there are no homes in sight. The location is private (but you will still see other folks on the river esp during summer) and has everything you need. I prepared for multiple meals and had plenty of room to store everything and all the cookware I required. The property owners were there and such a pleasure to chat with and always very helpful. Even though the main house is close we still felt like we had our privacy. We loved exploring the river and relaxing in the hot tub. It was slightly cool with bouts of rain while we were there, but still enjoyed every minute. Our kid loved his little spot up in the loft and the beds were very comfortable. We are still thinking about how amazing it was and are already dreaming about when we can book again! What a gem!

Beautiful Views
My wife and I stopped here for a quick 3-day trip and enjoyed the lovely pool overlooking the river. River access was great, an easy walk down a slowly sloping road just below the house. I'd venture to say it's probably the best river access of any house in the area. The water was a bit chilly for swimming while we were there, but it's a lovely spot for fishing and relaxing on the bank. Our favorite was just listening to the water. The stonework on the house and surroundings is impressive. The kitchen was exceptionally well appointed. Nice place. Sylvia was a pleasure to deal with, hope to be back some time in the future.

4th of July
Enjoyable visit to the Mountain Pool house, the craftsmanship of this home is amazing. A wonderful view of the Trinity River which is just a short hike away. On a hot Summer visit, plenty options to cool down a dip in the pool or a float on the river are both enjoyable. You should be comfortable with dogs, this is truly a pet friendly property . Thank you Larry & Sylvia for sharing your home for us to enjoy a quiet 4th of July and our 27 anniversary.

Beautiful Pool House!!
The Pool House is charming, very classy, and comfortable with everything you need. The views of the Trinity River are great and you have use of the pool and private access River beach. The owner is extremely welcoming and helpful, and an altogether terrific person. I loved the whole experience.

Second Stay
We loved this stay last summer! We were actually Sylvia’s first guests. This year, although the property was definitely amazing again (middle of the trees, quiet, rustic), we didn’t appreciate having to share the pool with the owner. Although she is very nice, it made the stay feel not as private and relaxing, and at times awkward. I am currently going through cancer treatments, so we wanted something very relaxing and private, and unfortunately, this wasn’t quite like last year. We also had our two dogs with us, who are very calm with each other, but the owner had a tenant who was also on the property who also had a dog that would often run around freely, which would get our dogs all riled up. And on a different topic, the pool house is infested with carpenter bees, so it made it difficult to eat on the porch as they were constantly swarming in that area. We found ourselves inside more than we cared for. Last year, we were outside every morning and evening - this year, we were in the pool house. Overall, it was a nice stay, because being by the pool and in the trees is always nice, but the lack of solitude and having to share facilities definitely brought down the “vacation” feel. Our trip was over $2000, so having to share the pool, just didn’t seem right.

First of all I want to address some of the issues We do not rent the other cabin, our 87 year old sister in law lives there and does things like starting the hot tub for guests when requested. She does not swim and so does not "share the pool" with the guests. She tries very hard to stay out of the way so that guests can have a private vacation. One morning I did use the pool for about an hour to do my physical therapy ( walking in the oool) while no one was outside--I had informed the guests that this would probably happen--it was far from the "shared pool experience " that I think of when people use that term. Lastly I do want to say that I understand the difficult time that these guests must be going through right now and wish them the best with her treatments.

The best.
This is my second stay at this property and absolutely my preferred place to stay when I'm in town visiting or working. It has everything, it's peaceful and quiet but fun and recreation are right outside the door. It's wildly beautiful, the house itself is built with so much love and creativity, it's just my favorite place on this Earth to be and I will choose to come here every time I am able. The property owners are lovely and responsive every time, I loved getting visits from little Ollie the cutest raccoon-faced doggie on his rounds to make sure everything was going well and no snacks fell on the floor. It's just the best place to be at every time of year.

Great place and great host!
Our family spent several days at Sylvia's cabin this Christmas. this was incredible! everything we were looking for came true there. silence, a mountain river that can be seen from the window, incredible nature, and most importantly - a cozy cabin. in the cabin, we found everything necessary for a comfortable rest: dishes, pots and pans, kitchen towels, and even coffee and tea. we cooked our Christmas dinner there and in the cabin we found everything we needed. special mention should be made of Silvia's hospitality and care. the hot bath she prepared for us was the best after the long drive there. when we couldn't find wine because all the shops were closed, Silvia gave us two bottles of wine. there is also a private pool on the territory. this is a place where there is absolutely nothing to do except for passive rest, time with children, and with yourself. if you are looking for a place to hide from our hectic life in the lap of nature, sleep in comfortable beds, and spend time with family, Sylvia's cabin is the perfect place. That is the place we would want to come back.

Fabulous Rustic Cabin!
The place was fantastic! Perfect for a quiet getaway in nature. It's centrally located between all the state and national parks which is ideal. And Sylvia and Larry are fantastic hosts. Only a text message away if you have any questions or need the hot tub heated up.

Vacation up the coast

Wanted to thank Joe for all of his help with his support of the fire crews Because of him and the wonderful crews fighting the fire there were no structures lost Additionally in our immediate area none of the trees in our property were damaged Our views are still lovely and the air quality is back to being great

Really special place!!
The property is just one of the most magical places you can visit if you're in the area. The river, the pool, the architectural design and thoughtfulness of materials...it's just stunning. And Sylvia is lovely and responsive. I would definitely love to visit over and over and over.

This was such a beautiful place! Pool, hot tub, trees, and a river?! What more could we ask for?? The pool house was equipped with everything we needed and outside, we saw frogs, lizards, bats, deer…so much nature for us city people. We LOVED it!

Hidden Gem....This is the place, don't look further!
Our road trip begins from L.A. to upper Northern Calif., our goals is to spend quality time with dearest old friends; have some laugh and enjoy the good meals; then head into the Redwood National park to de-stress. We are blessed to find Trinity Pool House for our mini-get-away. We felt so welcome and the owner, Sylvia has provided everything we could possibly require. Trinity pool house is an amazing place, the photos speak for itself, this place is custom build with class. Everywhere you turn is details that we can easily appreciated for. The panorama view through the French doors overseeing the creek side are the area we missed the most, the sun shining in a beautiful way that it calm the mind. Owner is sweet lady with a kind heart, she is an expert in the area and helped to rerouted most of our original POI mapped from other traveler sites. We are glad that we have followed her suggestions and made our trip as in whole. I encourage you to connect with Sylvia prior the trip as she has so much valuable advice can share. This is a place we look forward to return in fall.
