„super“

„sehr nettes und rücksichtsvolles Personal ... sehr saubere Zimmer und geniales Hotel mit supper Küche ... “

„Top Hotel with great view and very friendly staff.“

„Great location, with lovely views over the surrounding moors. Excellent range of food and wines very reasonably priced. Bed room was spacious and spotless clean. Will return in the future for sure.“

„The staff could not have been more helpful nothing was to much trouble. Could do with a lift it’s a long way up stairs with cases to the very top floor“

„Nice and fresh room. Lovely staff. Extra milk/tea/coffee on corridor table and toothbrushes for those who require them. Dog bowls, treats and blankets if bringing your pooch. Food was lovely.“

„Restaurant Bar“

„The pub and restaurant are closed from Monday to Wednesday, but, the rooms are available, but, the breakfast is available, if you are staying there. The Inn is surrounded by beautiful scenery, and ample parking. The transport links are excellent to Huddersfield and surrounding areas. Julie, the host, is very nice and knowledgable about the area, who also cooks a very good breakfast. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, very spacious bathroom with a lovely selection of toiletries.  ...

„The nice pictures on the webpage do not reflect the reality, as these are from restaurant only. The hotel and the rooms are old, not refurbished nor renovated, smelling badly, bathroom old and not really nice. Aircond/ hester laud and smelling badly. We could not make use of the breakfast, as on weekends breakfast is available from 8am on only. In the restaurant, there are no prices on the menue for drinks - watch out, not to be badly surpriced! The only positive aspect is: convenient location ...

„As always...simply lovely, staff always very nice and helpful, breakfast yummy, room and beds excellent...5th stay.. wouldn't stay anywhere else in Holmfirth!“
