Thanks for staying and the kind words. Your advice is good; we are in a snow zone, a fairly steep climb up to the location, and while both the town and I keep the roads fairly clear, heavy snow can hit at any time! As for parking, to be fair, you had two large trucks, and I did have another spot open on top of turnaround, not much of an extra walk. But point taken and over the summer some improvements will be made to widen and lengthen a bit the guest parking area. Have a lovely rest of winter!

Thanks for the kind words about us and the property; we always try to be nice and are humbled on a daily basis for being able to live here. But more importantly, we are so relieved that the emergency wasn't worse and that there is a path to recovery. You two really brightened my day upon arrival, two happy, jovial and engaging guests; that's what it's all about. I can't wait to see you again, and the bocce balls you forgot are stowed away safely. Glad the skiing was good, it's been a warm winter, but they've done a great job at Holiday Valley, as per usual. Y'all were great guests, was great talking with you and am glad you enjoyed the Park Nature Walks and the Camp. Per our discussion, you said you mistyped the 30 minutes and it was only 20 minutes; easy enough typo to correct. It is close as the crow flies, but you have to go around to get there. So this location is 20 minutes from the lake in spite of being in the Park (and 20 minutes from Ellicottville as well). I continually try to upgrade pots and pans, there's even a little All Clad in there. Onward and upward! LOL. Hope to see you again and enjoy the rest of your summer!

I am more than surprised at your cleanliness comments; I hired a professional, with specific written checklists I prepared, to clean (First time ever, last time as well, that I didn't clean). As you know, I was in Colorado for a wedding. I also had someone who has cleaned alongside me to come in and go over it to make sure. He said everything was fine. All surfaces--floors, couches, table and counter tops, tile, carpets, toilets, sinks-- were vacuumed, mopped or cleaned with Lysol as appropriate. To have it "much cleaner" is a head scratcher, respectfully. I also waived my dog rule for no large dogs with less than sterling reputations (golden retrievers are fine) in allowing you to bring your ESA, Emotional Support Animal, Rottweiler, because our two friendly female mutts mean the world to us and an altercation with your "territorial" dog worried me. But I want this place to be one of peace, rejuvenation, and tranquility. I apologize for the cleanliness issue, please contact me and be very specific as to the issues so that I can make sure that it doesn't happen again as well as to offer a partial refund for any emotional distress this caused. Thank you.
