It’s a cheap place so you really shouldn’t expect much. I arrived at the overnight window to check in since I got in extremely late. The original room I booked was in complete shambles when I walked in. I had to return to the overnight window and get another room.
Then I didn’t know you had to request the room to be made up at the front desk, so for my entire stay, my room was not made up, and there wasn’t even a “do not disturb” tag for my door handle in my room. I complained about this during checkout and they said they would call me today to get more details. They did not call me today. I will happily pay extra so I don’t have to walk by the same trash in the hallways and dog feces in the middle of the sidewalks by the pool here. The staff clearly does not care about the cleanliness of the rooms, property, or comfort of the guests and will happily inconvenience you and lie through their teeth about offering discounts, refunds, or callbacks so they can take your hard earned money. I would not be surprised if they did not return my credit card deposit authorization.
I would rather pay an extra $30 a night so I won’t have to be in an awful place like this
