„We enjoyed the areas attractions and atmosphere. Biking, hiking and fishing are all nearby. The Elmaro winery is 10-15 minutes away and was a pleasant experience with great views of the vineyard. The lock and dam can be seen from the house and it provided occasional entertainment as the tugs pushed barges through the chamber.“

„Our parents grew up in Winona, but raised their four kids in California. The four of us kids spent a week in the area reconnecting with relatives and visiting the beautiful river towns in the area. We loved our stay at the BRD Nest. Beautiful views, Sullivan’s, birding, fishing, breweries, and great country roads. We’d stay here again!“

„We had a quick and comfortable stay in The Hen House. We aren't crafters but it would be a great set up for a crafting group get away. The beds were comfortable, the house super clean, the kitchen big and stocked with equipment, and communication with the owner could not have been better. There is a cute firepit out back that we didn't have a chance to use due to rain but the setting is among lovely farm land. We would stay again.“

„Place was as described. Rooms comfortable albeit a bit warm in the upstairs, even with fans and AC. Had a little trouble getting code key to work at first but were able to overcome. Owner was very responsive to our plight. If I could change one thing it would have been all the stairs. Be careful on the last step off the porch stairs. There is a little cement step that is kind of hidden under last wooden step. If miss that, it is a drop and we almost wiped out a couple times. All in all, ...

„I rented the property for a leadership retreat for work. There were 7 of us who stayed for two nights. The property was super clean, the kitchen was well equipped, the view to the river was beautiful! The train does run nearby so if you are a lighter sleeper, you may hear it. „This property felt like you were staying with family. So many amenities; from bathroom items, games, and a nicely stocked kitchen. All the furnishings and apliances appear to be new. The bed was comfy too. We hosted an intimate gathering of family to celebrate our daughter's college graduation. Lovely little yard to take photos. „This charming and cozy cabin in the rolling farm hills of Chatfield was a refreshing and peaceful retreat for us. We loved the cabin, very comfortable as well as the beautiful surrounding property. "All in all a standard hotel. The beds were cozy and the AC reliable in the summer heat. The swimming pool was nice and our son really enjoyed the warm water. The breakfast was good and our son was fascinated by the pancake maker. The only aspect we did not like was the non-reusable plates / cutlery for the breakfast."
