  • Wildlife Mountain Cabin — Where the Wildlife Comes to Visit!
Welcome to Wildlife Mountain Cabin, a charming two-story mountain retreat tucked among the tall pines of historic Upper Canyon in Ruidoso. Cute, cozy and full of personality, this cabin offers the quintessential mountain getaway—with one very special bonus: the wildlife comes right to you!
Elk, mule deer, wild horses and wild turkeys are frequent visitors around the cabin, making every day a little different. Enjoy your morning coffee on the covered deck and keep your eyes open—you never know who might wander by!
    COZY MOUNTAIN CHARACTER
Inside, you'll find warm wood interiors, soaring ceilings and a beautiful rock gas fireplace that creates the perfect gathering spot for relaxing after a day in the mountains. The open living area gives everyone room to gather, play games, visit or simply enjoy the peaceful wooded surroundings.
The kitchen adds a fun and unexpected touch with its custom mosaic artwork backsplash. It's a unique detail that gives this mountain cabin plenty of personality and makes the space feel like anything but an ordinary vacation rental.
RELAX, UNWIND & ENJOY THE MOUNTAINS
After a day of exploring Ruidoso, hiking the trails, skiing at Ski Apache or strolling through Midtown, soak in the private hot tub (coming soon) and enjoy the peaceful mountain setting.
The covered deck is another favorite gathering spot—perfect for morning coffee, an evening glass of wine or simply sitting quietly and watching for your next wildlife visitor.
    BRING THE WHOLE FAMILY
Wildlife Mountain Cabin is pet friendly, so your four-legged family members don't have to miss out on the mountain adventure.
Located in historic Upper Canyon, you're surrounded by the beauty and character of one of Ruidoso's most beloved areas while remaining convenient to the restaurants, shops, recreation and attractions that make Ruidoso such a popular mountain destination.
And while the cabin is located in beautiful Upper Canyon, it is not located in the flood-prone area, allowing you to enjoy the peaceful mountain setting with added peace of mind.
Whether you're planning a family vacation, a getaway with friends, a romantic mountain escape or simply a chance to slow down and reconnect with nature, Wildlife Mountain Cabin is ready to welcome you.

Come for the mountain cabin. Stay for the wildlife.
