„A beautiful building, with quiet, treelined grounds, easy parking and a very peaceful vibe.
The rooms are basic, just as advertised, but they are clean and well fitted - my room had a single bed, a wardrobe, desk and television, and the large en suite bathroom had a decent sized shower.

„Ich werde bei einer zukünftigen Reise nach York wieder diese Unterkunft buchen. Das Zimmer war immer sauber (wurde jeden Tag gereinigt) und war stilvoll eingerichtet. Das Personal war sehr nett und herzlich. Das Frühstück hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt und die Speisen, die zur Auswahl standen, haben mir auch gut gefallen. Die Lage ist ohnehin bestens, in 5 Minuten ist man beim Bahnhof und in weniger als 10 Minuten in der Altstadt.“

The main entrance door has a strong spring on it so very noisy when people allowed it to slam shut.

„Can't praise the Queens Head enough. Very friendly welcoming staff, excellent menu choices all reasonably priced, very clean and comfortable accommodation. The Queens Head is situation in an ideal location to explore the Yorkshire Dales, Yorkshire Moors as well as the historic spa town of Harrogate. Very quite village location. “

„From checking in the staff were friendly and very polite. The breakfast was excellent, cooked fresh and to perfection with plenty of toast and coffee on tap. There was plenry of choice as well as a continental option. The room was excellent and the honesty bar is a great touch and not expensive for a late night treat or glass of wine. “

Such an awesome, cosy and quaint motel to stay. The breakfast made to order, warm and delicious was an unexpected treat. The waiting/counter staff were wonderful and friendly. Made our 1 night stay simply great and wish for a B&B experience a great one indeed. Room was huge and bathroom so clean. Water pressure was like a waterfall - another welcomed surprise. Thanks!!“

"Da wir mit dem zugewiesenen Zimmer (direkt über Küchenabluft) nicht zufrieden waren, haben wir mit Rezeption abgesprochen, dass uns am anderen Tag nachmittags zwischen 16. und 17. Ur ein Ersatzzimmer gezeigt wird und wir entscheiden ob wir im ursprünglichen Zimmer bleiben oder ins Neue umziehen.
Als wir anderntags zurück kamen, stellten wir fest, dass sich keine persönlichen Sachen mehr im Zimmer befanden. Auf unsere Reklamation wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass wir umgezogen seien und unser ursprüngliches Zimmer schon weitervermietet sei. Es waren schon andere Leute im Zimmer obwohl wir den Tresor noch nicht geleert hatten!!!
Das neue Zimmer war überhaupt nicht der Hit. Das schlimmste aber: unser Kleider welche im Schrank gehangen sind, wurden in einem Abfallsack ins Ersatzzimmer transportiert, im weiteren wurde in unseren Taschen rumgewühlt!!!
Als wir diese Umstände reklamiert haben, wurde uns klargemacht, dass dieses Hotel besser verlassen würden, was wir auch umgehend gemacht haben
