Awesome food. Very accommodating as we turned up a bit late but they still did food for us. Would recommend and stay again. “

„The manager Anna couldn’t have been nicer. She greeted us with a cup of tea and biscuits and allowed us to check-in early and was very helpful with suggestions of things to do in the city. Rooms were comfortable and quiet and included on-site free parking. Location just a short walk into the centre. Breakfast also very good with lots of options. “

„Das kleine Guesthouse ist sehr zentral gelegen. In 5 Minuten ist am am Marktplatz, in 10 Minuten an der Kathedrale. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig mit schönem Bad. Das Frühstück ist klasse.“

We only had breakfast but it was delicious and plenty of it. The decor was lovely but needed a bit of tidying and the vase on the table needed a clean. I’m not keen on fake flowers which gather dust and the winter sun shows the glass vase needing a polish.
I’m being picky hoping I’m being helpful. It was a fab stay and I thoroughly recommend it and would stay again. “

„Last minute booking due us n3eding tongo and viait family after a sudden unexpected family passing all the stagf where nothing but kind and polite and when we needed to extend our stay it was no issue at all for them to help us we opted to have the breakfast and im so glad we did aswell as the full english and continental option the also had things like omelettes, avocado on toast and the most delicious eggs florentine. The manor is stunning as is the grounds and i enjoyed googling the history!“

"Parking in front of the hotel for the luggage has beenpossible. Late check out has been possible. Parkhouse with additional payment nearby. An aircondition for a house nearby makes a lot of noise."
"Grosses, schönes Hotel an optimaler Lage beim Bahnhof. Grosszügiges Zimmer mit sehr bequemen Betten. Leider war es Nachts sehr heiss und das Fenster konnte nicht genügend geöffnet werden, damit etwas kühlere Luft ins Zimmer gelangt.
Das Bad war gross mit genügend Ablagefläche und Möglichkeiten die Duschtücher aufzuhängen. Leider lief der Duschtuchwärmer die ganze Nacht und konnte nicht abgestellt werden ( und es war eben schon sehr heiss im Zimmer). Der Wasserhahn ist so am Lavabo angebracht, dass man sich nicht die Hände waschen kann und Wasser über das Lavabomöbel läuft.
Wir liessen unsere Duschtücher, wie vom Hotel mittels angebrachtem Zettel vorgeschlagen hängen, so dass wir sie nochmals benützen können, aber das funktionierte leider nicht, alles wurde gewechselt.
Das Frühstücksbuffet war teuer, aber sehr reichhaltig.

"Das erste Zimmer war total abgewohnt, dreckig und stank. Gottseidank bekamen wir auf Grund der defekten Toilettenspülung ein Zimmer gegenüber. Es war quasi ein Upgrade (Seaview). „Normal“ sauber (zumindest keine Flecken auf Sofa und Teppich), Kühlschrank und Ventilator. Durch die Seeseite aber auch laut (Straße und Strandpromenade). Egal wo man herging musste man immer ein paar Treppen laufen. Außerdem am letzten Ende."
"Overall the hotel is fine for a short stay. In general the concept of only charging for what is actually being used, makes sense, but in my opinion here they kind of went to far. Paying for luggage storage as well as for using the safe is something that seems unnecessary as it doesnt create any extra work for the staff anyways. In the end paying for these things makes it about the same or even more expensive then other comparable Hotels. Also the rooms are quite noisy, woke up two different nights as people were shouting in the hallways and no one intervened. So overall, fine if you know of these things, but would probably choose a different hotel next time."
