„Jeff was an excellent host. Extremely responsive. Made our group of 4 feel very welcome. He provided a brief history of the mansion/Upper unit. The location was perfect for a short/safe 10 min walk to Ford Field. Comerica Park and Little Ceasars Arena are even closer. Walking distance to several restaurants and bars. The Whitney House Upper Unit had a lot of character, charm, plenty of space and was very clean. We will absolutely stay at the Whitney House again for our next overnight visit ...

„I was extremely disappointed in this VRBO. One smoke detector was beeping constantly, the other hung from wires visibly from the ceiling, and one of the toilets wouldn’t stop running. The property was not as clean as other VRBO’s I’ve stayed at. We had to stay elsewhere. “

„The hosts were very friendly, but check in was difficult because I received a text the morning of to pay a deposit which was not processed until I called to inquire how to get in upon arrival. The house is in a great location, but dirty and two separate shelves fell off the walls while we were there. It felt very much like a property where the minimal amount of effort was put in to make the most money possible. “
