Cayuga Gray: Lakefront Home Near Cayuga Wineries!

Directly on the water amongst the areas finest Finger Lakes Wineries and located on the west shore of Cayuga Lake you will find this exceptional colonial style home we call “Cayuga Gray”.

As you enter this home from the lake you are greeted with a sunny all season's room with large wall to wall picture windows for an all-day view of the water. Inside the Living Room you are met with a massive stone fireplace (decorative only) and cozy seating. The living room is open to an updated kitchen that includes a breakfast bar and modern appliances. The lakefront Dining Room boast views of the sparkling lake.

Upstairs you will find a master bedroom with Queen bed and an attached bathroom equipped with jetted tub. Enjoy your morning coffee from the upper deck off the master suite. Just down the hall are 2 more bedrooms. One with a Queen bed and the other with both a Queen bed and Twin bed to accommodate your entire family.

This home offers you 95' of gorgeous shoreline with a break wall, firepit and 30' permanent dock. The boathouse offers easy access to launch a kayak and paddleboard directly into the water.

Exploring Finger Lakes wine country couldn't be easier than from this location. Within 10 miles you have access to a dozen award-winning wineries including Hosmer, Thirsty Owl, Knapp, and the infamous Three Brothers Winery and Brewery. For any history buffs, Seneca Falls is also a short drive away.

Parking Instructions: Parking at this home is strictly enforced by town zoning regulations. The maximum parking at this property is 2 spaces, including boat trailers, parked perpendicular to the house. Please do not park in the grass. The driveway is shared with the neighboring property and the right-of-way should be clear at all times.

* Note: Your safety is important to us! This home is equipped with 2 exterior security cameras. The cameras do not look into any interior living spaces.

**This property is closely monitored for responsible renting and must abide by Town of Varick Rental Guidelines; this includes limiting guest occupancy to 10 at all times.

Occupancy: This property is closely monitored for responsible renting. The maximum occupancy of each home is the number of guests allowed on the premises at any given time. This includes both day and overnight guests as well as all children including infants.

1. You will receive an email upon confirmation with a link to our Guest License Agreement which is a copy of our Rental Rules that must be signed and returned within 7 days of receiving.
2. Smoking is not allowed in any rental property. This includes vaping and e-cigarettes.

Nice property in a location which we felt was central to a lot of places of interest that we wanted to check out (relatively short rides to Ithaca, Seneca Falls, Watkins Glen, and Geneva). It comfortably fit 6 of us (4 adults and two children).

Lake House

Overall this is a great house on the lake! The parking situation is a bit of a headache if you have you have more then 2 cars. The auxiliary parking at deans cove state park is confusing. It clearly states no overnight parking there, even though this is the direction from the owners. One of our cars received a warning ticket on the last night of our stay. Also make sure to bring cleaning supplies. Specifically trash bags and dish soap. We quickly ran out of the small amount that were left for us.

Great Getaway!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cayuga Gray on Cayuga Lake! The house was very clean and roomy and was perfect for our little getaway! The kitchen does not have a crockpot just as an FYI but other than that no complaints. Great place to stay!!!

Wonderful vacation home

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful vacation home. It was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. Our only issue was that we could only park two cars at the house due to new regulations. We needed to park the extra car in a nearby parking lot.

Relaxing get away

We had a lovely stay at Cayouga Gray. There was plenty of room for eight of us. The accommodations were very clean and modern. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. There were plenty of games and puzzles provided as well as plenty of storage for food, clothing, etc. The barbecue outback worked out well and we were able to use the fire pit. The views of the lake from the living room, as well as the front porch are wonderful! Nice area outside to sit either in the sun or the shade. The provision of the kayaks was so convenient. Being centrally located on the lake was nice to be able to take advantage of a lot that was in the area. There was an unexpected issue with a tree branch that needed to be removed. Both the realtor and the homeowners were very responsive. The only recommendation that I would make would be for more chairs and maybe a long table on the front porch, which would provide more variety of seating and eating options. We would definitely stay here again!

Cornell Graduation Weekend 2023

Beautiful, airy home on a lake with lots of sunlight. Gorgeous sunrises. Can't beat the sounds of the lake and the brilliance of the sun reflecting on the water, as you drink your morning coffee. Well stocked kitchen, tons of extra pillows and covers. We used the kayaks and fished from the dock. Lots of nice wineries within 5-20 min drive. We ate at Wolffy's which is right on the lake 10 min away. Great food. Overall great stay and we would love to stay here again.

New Years Weekend

The home- Cayuga Gray- was absolutely lovely. It was just as pictured with great sleeping space for our family and nice gathering areas with great views of Lake Cayuga. Great sunrise through the cloud cover of a December morning from the bedroom balcony. Nice kitchen with all the necessary tools to cook meals and bake. Great place and we look forward to coming back with the entire family.

Great location & floor plan

Great house & would recommend renting it. The house is right on the lake with access directly into the lake. Upper deck for beautiful views or in the warmth of the entry room. The home was modern, simple, tastefully decorated & clean. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals-it was very well stocked. Plenty of games & puzzles, extra blankets & pillows if you need them. Beds are comfortable. Please note that it is a three bedroom property with additional sleeping areas available on the pull-out couch in the entry room & a trundle bed in an area off to the side of the master bedroom. There are three actual bedrooms with doors/privacy. To access the shower in the master bedroom, you step into the Jacuzzi tub-not an issue, but good to know if someone has mobility issues & is planning on using that bathroom. The other bathroom has a standard stand-up shower (no tub). Shower pressure was good & bathrooms had plenty of room for storage. Property was very clean & well maintained. Living area downstairs has a great open floor plan for hanging out & a 1/2 bathroom is right off of the living room. Wineries are very close by. About 1/2 hour drive to Ithaca and 1 hour to Greek Peak. We really enjoyed our stay in this home & would recommend it to others.
