Spring break 24
The cabin was great. Very spacious and could have add another family with us. Plenty of supplies. Bought fire wood but the wind was too high to safely have a fire. Close to trails and had the feeling of seclusion we wanted. Would absolutely stay again!!!

Short spring break trip
Enjoyed our stay. Cabin had more than enough space for our family of 4. Kids enjoyed the lower level movie room and hot tub. Beds were comfy and kitchen had pretty much everything we needed. Excellent communication prior to the trip (directions, check-in instructions, etc.). Only issue was upon arrival we had to get rid of 10 hornets that were in the upstairs loft area. We never found a place for them to get in so we figured maybe the cleaning service had propped the doors open and they came in that way. Otherwise, a fun stay in Red River Gorge.

A slice of heaven
This wonderful property was the perfect spring break getaway that allowed us to recharge and reconnect with nature. We loved the feeling of being in our own little corner of the woods, waking up to the sound of woodpeckers and going to sleep being serenaded by the frogs. We enjoyed lounging in the sunshine on the deck during the day and playing games before watching movies at night. This property is everything as advertised and is highly recommended.

Perfect Friend of Family Getaway
This property was absolutely perfect for a group of friends! Enough space for everyone to sleep comfortably but it’s still spaced out enough to give everyone privacy. We had the “gamers” downstairs and the sports fanatics and foodies on the main level. We had everything we could want or need for cooking and plenty of entertainment with the coziness of the woods. By far the best cabin I’ve ever rented. The owners were extremely helpful and provided us with any information needed.

Loved the movie room and enjoyed card table downstairs! House is beautiful! Plenty of room to stretch out- Living Room upstairs with kitchen/ Movie room downstairs with card table plus extra table! Bar downstairs! Close to Chimney Top trail and Sky ride to Natural Bridge and The Gorge Underground! We did all of the above! House was stocked with everything you need to cook-Just bring your food! My family went to canoe however the accommodations added so much to the trip. First, the cabin had all of the amenities we needed for a large group in all areas including the kitchen. Nicely decorated, clear communication. This place was a treat. I definitely without a doubt would rebook.

This was our first time to KY and we were not disappointed! The cabin was great. Large and spacious, very clean and welcoming. Nice lay out. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit after exploring the gorge. Beautiful area. Cathy was wonderful. Very attentive and quick to respond. Wonderful home in RRG
We had an amazing time at SWR! The home was beautiful and very clean. My family of six (4 kids), my mom, and my sister all stayed at the house. It was large enough to fit all 8 of us with plenty of space to not feel on top of each other. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen was stocked well with all that we needed! The added slewing loft was great for the kids! The kids loved the movie theater (those bean bags are amazing! We just may have to buy some for home!) while the grown ups loved the porches and hot tub! Despite the rainy weather this week in RRG we saw plenty in the area including Natural Bridge and the Gorge Underground. The location of the house was perfect - private enough to feel away from it all but a short 10-15 min drive to all we needed including some great restaurants like Miguel’s, the Ice Cream Shop, and Daniel Bone’s Coffee House. We will definitely be back to the Red River Gorge and SWR!

Blast for a 3-Generation Vacation!
We had a wonderful stay at this cabin -- grandparents, son & DIL, and grandkids. The layout of the cabin was great and it was loaded with amenities -- movie room, fire pit, wrap-around deck, washer/dryer and hot tub! The location was great as well. It is close to several of the highlight features of the gorge, but private and secluded for some peace and quiet. We loved it! :)

SO BEAUTIFUL!
We have been hiking in the Red River Gorge area many times. This home, by far has been the most beautiful, well stocked and PERFECT for our family. We had a mix of 3 generations of adults. We were able to put the youngest generation in the loft... with the private bedroom, loft of multiple beds and nice full bath. The other older generation folks stayed on the main floor in the 2 bedrooms that shared a full bath. Most of the guys were nice enough to go to the lowest level full bathroom for their showers since we all came back from hiking sweaty, dirty and tired (so good). I didn't realize how amazing the lower level was... we played games at the game table and had the wet bar with full fridge down there for all of our beverages. That was really convenient! We really utilized the well stocked kitchen! Made our breakfasts there every morning and dinner 1 night too. The house was so comfortable that we chose to do carry out 1 evening from Red Point (highly recommended restaurant close by) and just enjoyed our dinner at Sweet William! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us! I hope to make this a family tradition... you may see us next spring!!!

Private Family Get-Away in Red River
We really enjoyed the space and amenities of our stay at SWR Cabin. Having a private level for watching TV and not disturbing anyone in the bedroom levels/loft was great. The outdoor areas and privacy of the location was good with a bit more work to get to than similar mountain homes. Nothing that the privacy didn't deliver in being a bit off the main roads. Overall a great stay with significant opportunities to take part in all the nature activities that are available within 20 minutes in any direction.

What a beautifully zen place to relax and have fun.
The home was amazing ! The attention to detail and relaxing atmosphere was just what our group needed. The house is stocked...if you forgot it, I am sure it is there. Perfect cabin for our annual family getaway!
My family (Parents, Brother, his wife, their two kids, and my little family of three) takes a week-long vacation every year. This year we decided to head up to Kentucky. This cabin was a perfect fit for all of us together. Plenty of space for us all to relax, play games, and use as a jump off to other places to explore! I highly recommend this cabin. The coffee bar was a favorite of us mommies of toddlers. This is the first cabin I have stayed in that came with basic condiments in the fridge and basic seasonings (more than just salt and pepper), and stocked shampoo, body wash, and laundry supplies in case you forgot something. Thanks for a great week!
