the front door and entry way to our room had so many cigarette butts it was gross . The aircon in the room had a musty smell coming from it when turned on. the light switch on the entry did not work you had to go inti the room to find a light switch above the bed.They had a pull out bed and mattress stored outside under the stairway. the only good thing about the room was the bed . never stay there

This property was clean and breakfast was decent. On l y issue was with the remodel, there was no working fan in the bathroom to pull out odor or moisture. Don't know if that meets code for a windowless bathroom.

Great stay for the price. All we needed was a bed for the night near the road and it was perfect for that. The bed was very comfortable and linens were exceptionally clean. It looks to be an older property but they are obviously making upgrades. The plastic was still on our TV and I saw new mattresses going into several rooms when we were leaving. Staff was very nice. The only downside was noise from the highway and some doors banging (probably from our location at the end of the hall). Definitely would do an overnight there again.

Upon arrival you could tell it was run down on the outside. The photos online through Expedia are not up to date. Checked into the hotel, sat there waiting for 10 mins for someone to show up to the front desk (which honestly is fine) but just added to the overall experience. Upon entering room checked the sheets & found pubic hairs & stains. Went back to the desk & they gave me a new room & upon our surprise there was another set of Public hairs & stains in those sheets. I mean there was smudges all over the tv itself that were clearly visible. The rooms were disgusting. I went back & asked for a refund as after the back & forth I would like to stay at another property which they refused to refund me my room. So I left & went & paid to stay somewhere else. That’s how bad it was. Don’t stay at this hotel, you will probably catch something! Lol

Booked this as a last minute dog-friendly hotel. Appreciated that they allow pets, and didn’t have super high expectations for the price. However, the room was dirty (bathroom not clean, stains on furniture, bedding, rug). People hang out in groups outside their rooms ALL day and night, making noise and smoking cigarettes, making it uncomfortable for everyone else staying. Wouldn’t stay again.

There were a lot of migrant workers staying at this hotel. It was next to the highway where all of the big trucks were using their jake brakes. We had trouble sleeping here.

Our room was not clean when we got in. There was a dirty, used Q-tip in the corner of the room. And there was hair left in the bathtub and wall. Toilet doesn’t flush well. And walls are thin. We could hear other dogs barking. Oh and the door doesn’t automatically close behind you so you have to make sure it’s closed. Curtains also don’t close all the way so there’s a hair clip to close the tiny gal.

I was really nervous about traveling alone with my toddler, but the hotel was in good shape and felt very safe and secure. The staff that I encountered was friendly and the location could not have been more convenient. This is where I’ll stay next time I’m in Roanoke.

We stayed for one night while driving home from our road trip. Our room was very clean, staff was friendly, and the breakfast was pretty decent, hot and cold options. Great deal for the price we paid. We would definitely stay here again.

The tv remote didn’t work. There were people running around during the night right outside our door being very loud. I’m also curious as to why there were no bedspreads with any thickness to them on the beds. It was still cold outside. It is convenient (right off I-81) if you have a dog.
