The desk people are decent. Don't smile much. Twice I got locked out of my room. Once for some reason, the key would not work. I went to the front desk and had to wait behind two people checking in (takes quite a bit of time) before I could get into my room. Once was when I was going into my friends room next to me (rooms 204 and 206 with a door between them). The door locked behind me, I did not bring my key with me. I didnt think that would happen. So at night, I had to go and get another key. The woman at the desk told me that you did not have rooms like that. UMM yeah, you do. I was VERY glad that I was dressed.

We have stayed here several times, visiting family in the Roanoke area. The only thing that I didn't like this time was that we were near a pet friendly room, and a dog kept barking loudly.

The first room they gave me had water on the floor in bathroom. When I called the front desk she seemed to know that so I am not sure why she put me in that room. The breakfast was okay but the dining area is cramped to say the least.

The property was very dirty and trashy on the inside. I pay an extra fee for bringing my dog. (This is suppose to be for cleaning). We are then put in a room that smells like piss and that is falling apart. It seems ridiculous to pay extra for a worse room. I am used to paying dog fees at a hotel, but it frustrating when it serves no purpose besides a cash grab.

the mattress and pillows were so surprisingly soft and squishy, so comfortable to sleep on... I want them at home! the blankets were also super soft! It was a little weird to work the ACs but I think it was just over my head and I'm a little shy. Though the staff were incredibly friendly and polite, easy to talk to. Definitely would recommend staying here! Very comfy and cozy, great nights' rest.

Property was outdated. We had stopped at another Best Western when we were headed south and it was such a different experience, in a good way. This breakfast wasn’t a full breakfast; limited options with a “menu” each day. Room appeared clean but didn’t feel clean. Not enough towels in a two queen room. We couldn’t get the TV to work. While we could have asked to change rooms or complained, we were already there by 10pm from traveling all day, that we just wanted to sleep. Best part, the beds were so comfortable.
