Sehr ruhige Umgebung, Im Sommer sicherlich noch viel schöner. Anlage liegt am Strand, Pools stehen zur Verfügung. Über Weihnachten etwas kühl, ist aber bei Sonnenschein mit T-Shirt möglich. Ideales Wanderparadies. Auto ist von Vorteil. Gutes Frühstück, kein Buffet.

Tolles Eco-Hotel mit Traumblick
Ich bin allein gereist und wurde aufs freundlichste umsorgt und gehätschelt. Dabei gab es keinerlei Aufdringlichkeiten. So konnte ich mich rundherum erholen und werde sicherlich wiederkommen. Das Hotel macht dem Namen Eco alle Ehre. Hier werden umweltschonende Ma?nahmen auch eingehalten und dazu aufgefordert; dementsprechend spartanisch ist manches der Einrichtung. Mich hat es erst Recht zur Ruhe kommen lassen. Das Frühstück ist überreichlich, regional und lässt weder in Umfang noch Service keinerlei Wünsche offen.

Small but beautiful hotel with fantastic view
The Eco-Beach Hotel is located at the top of the Santa Barbara Beach. It is small (14 appartments), therefore cosy and very quiet. The view is fantastic (looking from the bed directly at the ocean), there is an infinity-pool, everything is clean. Everything is taken care of and well-organized. Excellent and very helpful staff.

* Lage: + kleine Anlage am Meer mit eigenem Strandzugang, gut erreichbar, gutes Ausgangsziel - Die Landstrasse ist bei ablandigem Wind morgens laut *Ausstattung/Zimmer: + Geräumige Zimmer mit Küchenzeile + Modernes, ansprechendes Design - Betten - Von "Eco" hatten wir uns mehr versprochen als nur Mülltrennung. Elektroheizung im Zimmer und Restaurant, Kapselmaschinen, viel Plastikmüll am Strand... Die Idee, die Zimmer nur dann reinigen zu lassen, wenn es nötig ist ist gut, jedoch sollte dann dennoch täglich der Toilettenpapiereimer (ToPa darf nicht in die Toilette geworfen werden!) geleert werden. Hier wird trotz Hinweis darauf nur "alles oder nichts" gemacht. Schade! - Obwohl die Anlage sehr neu ist, zeigen sich schon erste Renovierungsbedarfe: Risse in den Wänden, nicht reparierte Wasserschäden im Restaurant, schon etwas Müffel im Bad (kein Fenster, nur Abzug) - hellhörig *Restaurant: + Toller Blick aufs Meer + insgesamt gute Küche am Abend mit ASIA Elementen - Service sehr unterschiedlich und personenabhängig (von tiptop bis unmotiviert) - Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für Speisen stimmt nicht im Vergleich zum Inselrest - Das Frühstück: kaum Abwechslung, z.T. um 8.30 nicht aufgebaut, Pumpkannen verbreiten Jugendherbergsflair; Espresso kostet extra... Sehr positiv war das Gespräch mit der engagierten General Managerin, die einen ernsthaft an Verbesserungen interessierten Eindruck gemacht hat und die Anlage grundsätzlich besser führen möchte. Wir wünschen ihr gutes Gelingen!

Sehr modernes Hotel mit einer köstlichen Küche
Ich war mit Freunden für eine Woche auf den Azoren und in dem Hotel untergekommen. Es war sehr sauber , die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich . Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Das einzige Manko ist , das die dritte Person auf einer betonerhöhung mit Matratze liegt . Das war für mein Rücken nicht zwingend gut . Aber das Essen vor Ort und der Charme der Insel haben dieses schnell weg gemacht .

Der Aufenthalt war einfach super, wir würden jedem der es gemütlich und ruhig wünscht dieses Hotel empfehlen. Das einzige was uns gestört hat, dass der Strand sehr schmutzig war, wir wissen aber nicht, in wie weit das Hotel auf diesen Strand Einfluss hat.

Wir verbrachten eine Woche im November in diesem Hotel. Das Hotel liegt an einem der schönsten Strände der Insel und trotzdem (wenn man einen Mietwagen hat) sehr Zentral. Alles Ausflugsziele sind von dort aus sehr gut erreichbar.

Das Hotel ist ganz neu und liegt relativ einsam oberhalb des Strandes zwischen Ribeira Grande und Santana. Mietwagen ist also absolutes Muss. Es gibt einen Pool und direkten Zugang zum Strand.

Super schöne 6 Tage die viel zu schnell vorbei gingen, das resort ist es dieses Jahr eröffnet wurden- es gibt nichts zu meckern...wir hatten zudem einen super Preis den es wahrscheinlich nicht nocheinmal gibt...einziges kleines Manko: das Frühstücksbüffet war nach 6 Tagen doch recht einseitig ...aber : wir kommen gerne wieder

Tolles Resort im schöner Lage
Das Resort hat eine Toplage direkt am Strand und ist gerade neu eröffnet (06/2015). Die Zimmer sind groß und gut eingerichtet. Leider lagen bei uns zwei Käfer in der Naehe der Betten. Das Personal ist freundlich - jedoch größtenteils sehr jung, unerfahren und teweise nicht professionell gerade im Verhältnis zum Anspruch des Resorts und der Preisliga.

I can’t say enough good things about this beautiful property. The staff was phenomenal. The room (and upgrade) was immaculate, spacious and comfortable. The food was wonderful at every meal we had. You could not find a better spot to use as a base to explore the island.

My fiancé and I had one of our best vacations to date. The villa we had was beautiful and our view was one of the best to wake up to every morning. Our staff was very accommodating with local recommendations for food, travel and ways to move around the island. We were given a cell phone to communicate with the front desk each and every question we had a they were very responsive. We will 100 percent be back.

Ines Silva went above and beyond for us during our stay. Five star employee. Dining staff seems unhappy and non engaging. The rooms are dark and drab. Rooms / outside of buildings are in need of a renovation badly. We stayed at Senhora da Rosa prior to staying here and got spoiled. Ines saved the ratings. Thank you again for all you helped us with.

A beautiful eco resort. I loved going into the sea (plenty of lifeguards around), the resort is accessible to wonderful restaurants (including their own) and attractions. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return.

Stayed here with my boyfriend for 12 nights. What we liked most: View from pool and restaurant area is lovely. Staff is nice, the reception staff helped us a lot with recommendations on things to do and see. We liked the breakfast. What we liked less: There are no adults only areas and some days the pool turned into a childrens play pool and we had crying and screaming children in the restaurant, while other days were OK. Rooms are becoming somewhat timeworn and we found them too dark and not so pleasent, but I guess it depends on your taste. Gym area is very minimal and could be expanded with some more equipment. Overall when considering the price level of this hotel I found it to be okay but not great.

Amazing staff!
This is the place to go to relax and enjoy the beautiful peaceful island. The staff is exceptional and will help you with taxi arrangements and also suggestions. The bed and bath was perfect! They also packed a breakfast to go box because we left early. Thank you to Vitor, Inez, Nuno and everyone else! Loved your professionalism.

Nice hotel but not really “value for money”.
The hotel is nice in a beautiful location close to the beach, rooms are nice but quite simple interior and not really up to date. It is still a quite expensive hotel but doesn’t really live up to the standard.
